"Show yourself! Who are you?" Maria shouted. Then she heard a voice,"lower your voice Miss nerdy!" Maria was shocked and the shadow came out."Daniel?" She exclaimed and Daniel said,"yes! Me." Maria tried to open her hands but she could not."Why did you tie me up here?" Daniel smiled and said,"do you want to know why? Then wait here, I'll come right away."
        He went and after a few minutes came with a bucket of cold water. He poured half of the water on Maria and she was surprised."What are you doing? That is cold wa......" She has not finished her sentence when another half was poured."STOPP!" She shouted."Now I will tell you why I poured the water." He paused for a minute and said,"the first half was for trying to steal in our house and the second one is for you kissing me."
        "Open me up! I will tell everybody that you kidnapped me!" Daniel laughed and removed a projector from the drawer."Do you want to see something?" He switched on and connected it. Maria saw herself trying to steal and she was shocked."How did....?" Daniel laughed and said,"Ohh poor you! Didn't dad told you that there are cameras everywhere in this house? But it's your bad luck. If I show dad this then your life will be over."
        "You do not know my situation. Please do not do this to me." Daniel showed a bored look and told her that she has to do everything he wants or else he will show his dad the proof. Maria accepted without thinking and said,"I will do everything you tell me to do. Please don't show anybody that." Daniel accepted and answered,"fine, I won't. And you will not tell anyone I kidnapped you nor will I tell anybody about this."
          He paused and continued,"we will continue the way we used to do and if you go with me then you will have to come to the store room and you won't go back home." Maria hesitated for a minute and she accepted when Daniel showed her the proof. She went to the bus station and waited for the bus. She received a message and she read,"am watching you! One mistake and your life will be over!"
         The bus came and she arrived at school. She started teaching her lesson silently without scolding anyone. The students were confused at first but they never minded it. She followed Daniel as usual in the evening and when they arrived home, they were just sitting instead of teaching. Daniel was talking with his friends while Maria was reading. Daniel's father did not mind Maria staying there at all. Indeed, he was happy.
        The next day, Rihanna came to school. Maria was informed and she was shocked. She went outside and saw Rihanna fighting with the security guard. She ran there and apologized and took Rihanna to her office."Why are you here?" She asked her and she answered,"wow! Enjoying alone in this luxury?" Maria shook her head and said,"why did you come here? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"
        Rihanna asked,"should I not be worried about you? You never came home for 3 or 4 days I think. Where have you been? Or have you forgotten me just because of all these? You know I love you and I can't let you go away from me. Tell me what is wrong with you!" Maria just shook her head and said,"don't worry about me. Am fine." But Rihanna refused to believe and said,"no! There is something wrong and you have to tell me."
           Maria started her story. She did not have a Chemistry lesson that day but only sports."Now you have time until mid afternoon and am not going out of here until you tell me." At that time Daniel was coming to the office. He stopped and eavesdrop to their conversations."That day when I was coming home, aunt sent people to kidnap me."
           Rihanna was shocked and said,"then?" Maria then continued and said,"I was blindfold and dragged to a car. The blindfold was opened and I saw aunt and uncle. They blamed me for my parents' death because I was the one who asked my parents to let them stay there. They bought the house and threw me outside and then they said that if I do something for them, they will leave me."
         "What did they ask you to do?" Rihanna asked and Maria said,"my aunt knew Mr.Thompson, the owner of this school and Daniel's father. So she asked me to steal any luxurious thing I will see." Rihanna kept listening and so was Daniel."But I could not." Rihanna asked why and when she was about to answer, the door opened and Daniel was standing there glaring at Maria.
        Maria was scared and shook her head."Who is this?" Rihanna asked and Daniel innocently introduced herself."Am Daniel. Nice to meet you." Rihanna smiled. She looked at Maria and said to herself,"such a handsome and rich boy. I know Maria won't fall for his money but he is indeed handsome and I will make sure I bring them together."
        "We have sports in a few minute. I came here looking for you." Daniel broke the silent and Maria answered,"OK, am on my way. Rihanna, I think you should go home now. I might not come home." Rihanna smiled and said it was fine even if she never came. Maria was confused but Rihanna left when she was about to ask. Time passed so fast and it was time they go home together.
        When they arrived and entered Daniel's room, Daniel forcefully grabbed Maria's hair and said,"how dare you! Now you want to take my dad's money so that you become rich? Or make your aunt and uncle rich?" Maria cried and told him he was misunderstanding but Daniel never listened to her. He left Maria's hair and threw her on the floor. He went to the drawer and removed a gun. He pointed it at Maria and said,"today, will be the end of your life. I had enough."  Maria was scared and never knew what to do.
