Maria continued her extra work. It was very tough but she kept working hard in order to pay her parents' debt. One weekend, a luxurious car came to pick her up and her aunt and uncle were surprised. They both looked at each other and Maria went to the car. She said goodbyes to them and entered the car."See! She is enjoying her life and here we are staying with her." Her aunt said after she was gone.
        "Don't worry, we will get the property as soon as possible." Her husband confront her. Maria arrived at the house and since she always come there, it became a habit for her. She did not need any person to show her the way. She opened the door only to find Daniel not there. She wondered where he had gone. She was about to go when she heard water droppings.
       She looked at the side of the bathroom and went to the door. Maria knocked at the door and there, was an answer,"mom, am taking a shower. Give me time." But again there was a knock. He opened the door with his towel around his waist and said,"mom, what's the......You? What are you doing here?" Maria faced the other side and went to the bed.
        "Hurry! Wear your clothes. I will be waiting outside." She got hold of the door knob when she heard a shout. She turned around only to find Daniel with his hand bleeding."What have you done?" She asked and started looking for a first aid kit."I am going to call your parents. Just wait here." She was about to go but she was caught.
      "Don't. My parents will rush me to the hospital and it's just a small injury." Maria wanted to rub the 'wound' with water but he stopped her."Let me rub it then apply medicine." But he refused and said it was fine and asked her to wait outside. Maria forcefully took his hand and rubbed it but to her surprise, she saw no wound.
       "Uhh......" She left even before he said anything. Daniel grinned and said,"first mission done." He wore his clothes and his father came with Maria."Have you worn your clothes?" He was shocked and his father added,"Maria came downstairs to take some water in case you needed one." Maria looked at him and smiled.
      He was soo angry and took the books. He opened the wrong chapter and his father left."You even don't know which chapter we are in. That means you were never paying any attention." Instead of listening, he was imitating Maria. Maria opened the right page and started teaching him."I will ask you some question. You will have to answer them."
        "Questions? You haven't even taught anything." But still Maria asked him but he never answered. She was about to say something when her phone rang."Hello?" She answered the phone."What?? But why?" She was about to hear what the other caller was saying when Daniel took the phone and disconnected it.
        "What do you think you are doing?" She asked and he answered,"I cannot talk with my friends then how can I allow you to talk with your friends?" Maria wanted to slap him but she stopped herself and tried to be calm. She continued teaching and rushed home. She did not even wait for the driver to take her home. On arriving home, she saw her bags outside.
        She was shocked."What is happening? I can pay my debt." She told the people around."Your father has a huge debt from me. I heard you go in with a luxurious car then why don't you pay the debt your dad took?" Maria was sad. Tears were blocking her eyes and what she saw was just a blur. She went and tried to talk with the landlord of the house but he said he already sold the house.
       "But whom did you sell it to? I thought nobody needed this house." Her aunt and uncle came from the house and said,"us. He sold it to us. And now you have no right to stay here." Maria was shocked."You have to pay our debt." The people said and they took her handbag. They took everything which was there and the books were scattered everywhere.
        The books were torn into pieces and she looked down. After they were satisfied to get what they wanted, they left. Her aunt and uncle locked the house and asked her to go far away. She was walking when her best friend called her. She answered the phone with tears in her eyes. Her best friend asked her to come to her house.
       She was about to hail a taxi when she heard the neighbours talking."Isn't that Maria? She and her parents were nice people." The other one agreed and said,"yh and you know the day her aunt and uncle came, I suspected them. Maria was not there when her parents died. The only people in the house were her aunt and uncle."
     Maria was shocked to hear that. She left with those words in her mind."Maria was not there when her parents died. The only people in the house were her aunt and uncle." She thought and said,"when I came from the university, I found my parents dead in the house." She was shocked after she realized who the culprits were.
