Daniel searched everywhere for Maria but could not find her. He asked her aunt and uncle but they did not know where she went. Instead, they were happy she left the city. Daniel never concentrated in class. Every time, he saw Maria and he would smile."Where have you gone? Why did you leave me?" Daniel kept asking himself in search for answers.
       Only a few months to go for Daniel to graduate. Everybody was happy except for Daniel. He missed her so much and kept thinking about her. He remembered her words and promised to work hard and pass. He smiled when he remembered the memories of everyday. Days passed and it was time for the last exams. All the students participated. Some were nervous but Daniel only thought of Maria.
      After days, the results came and to the teachers' and students' surprise, Daniel emerge the first student. Most were happy for him but he was never happy. He promised not to give up until he finds Maria. He went back home only to find Ben waiting for him. He was happy to meet him and hid his sadness."We are all happy for you for graduating and passing." 
     His father said and his mother hugged him. They hosted a small party for the celebration of their son. Daniel sat in a corner all alone."What has gotten into you? Where is the Daniel I know?" He smiled and shook his head."Is there something I should know? I might be of help." Daniel told his best friend everything since he knew he could trust him."So it's about love? No problem am here to help you." He smiled.
       "But how will you help me?" Daniel asked but his friend told him not to worry. Ben was his childhood friend and Daniel knew he could set everything right. Ben went to Daniel's father and told him to allow him to take Daniel on a little vacation to their city. His father was happy and thought it was a good idea."That's wonderful. He needs to go somewhere to relax." Daniel was told to pack and he was happy to accompany his friend.
       "I don't know how much should I thank you for this." Ben hugged him and told him not to worry. The next morning, they decided to leave. They bid everyone goodbye and left. Daniel told his friend about Maria and he answered,"ohh, a teacher? But she seems nice." Daniel smiled and they arrived. Daniel hoped to find Maria in this city. Ben took him home and he was welcomed happily.
      "Welcome! Both my sons."  Ben's father said as he hugged both of them. They went upstairs to freshen up and came to eat."Brother! Am happy you are back. Now you will take me to school and bring me back home." Ben's sister hugged him and he nodded. Weeks passed by but Daniel never saw Maria."Cheer up buddy! You will find her soon." Ben told him. He smiled and nodded. He kept thinking of how to meet Maria and what to tell her.
      "What will I tell her? Will she believe me? What if she needs proof?" He asked and he heard someone saying,"if she loves you, then she will believe you. She won't need proof." Daniel turned and saw his friend. He came and sat near him."Tomorrow, am taking my sister to school so you will come with me." He never felt like going but he accepted anyway. The next day, Ben took his sister to school and she waved goodbye to both of them and ran.
     "In the evening, I will have to come back here to take her. And she always gets out with a teacher holding her hand. She seems to be a nice teacher." Daniel accepted and that evening, they went to take her. On arriving, they saw the teacher."There she is!" Ben said as he points to the teacher. Daniel looked and was shocked on whom he saw. He hugged his friend and he was confused."What happened? You seem happy and your heart is beating?" Daniel nodded and said,"it is her! It is my love! Finally I have met her!"
        "Really? Woow! She is a teacher here. She is my sister's maths teacher." His friend was surprised and told him,"go, what are you waiting for?" Daniel was about to get out when he saw a boy coming towards Maria. He was shocked. He stayed in the car and saw the boy hugging her."Please let us go back. I think she has moved on." He was hurt and sad. His friend was worried for him and wanted to do everything to make them meet face to face again.
