You Think You Can Be Me

( laughs ) Yeah , right Its hard being me Why ? I'll tell you My life isn't perfect It may look like The Brady Bunch type of family in a happy home but look closer My parents fight everyday The only reason they don't divorce is my brother and little sister I have scars from passed battles trying to save my mom from my father Cuts for all thise times I couldn't help and hoping one of my veins pop Bruises from the hits when he's really drunk Everyday my life is a repeat I pray that my parents will divorce so we could live a better life I pray one day someone will save from this nightmare I pray all the screaming and beating will stop I pray to die because there is no happiness in my life Do you think you can handle this life ? But thats not the question is it ? No. So , do you think you can still be me ?

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
