Ми любим тих, хто нас не любить, Хто серце вириває із грудей. Того, хто душу нашу губить, Лишаючи одну серед чужих людей. А ми кохаємо їх палко та безтями. Їх кожне слово в пам'яті трима, І образ милий зберіга роками, І почуття, яких давно нема. Ми згадуємо ніжні поцілунки Й прогулянки за руку в тишині І ті приємні милі подарунки, Які лежать у скрині в темноті. І в голові прокручуєм розмови, Які вели завзято при зорі. Вони сплели у розумі окови, В яких ми тонем, наче в синім морі. І викинути нам уже не сила. Ми втрачені, загублені, самі. Неначе птаха, що відрізали їй крила І ранену залишили в пітьмі.

And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
