Rain—A Genuine Friend
She was aspiring for more,
But saw little.
She wanted to delve more but did little,
She wanted to complain,
But restrained and just kept accepting,
Until those rain droplets chilled down her cheeks.
She whispered,
But seemed inaudible,
She was drenched,
Yet, did not complain for an umbrella.
She was betrayed,
But never left hoping,
She was precipitating,
But loved the gentle rain,
When it slowly kissed,
She did not feel lonely anymore,
She had a "natural friend" ,
Who possessed her by now.
But this time,
She did not restrict—these Genuine and innocent driplets,
Who penetrated into her,
And calmed her soul.
They brought solace into her life,
And soaked the rain out of her eyes.
