Пусті обіцянки, пусті слова, Пусте кохання, пусті наші серця. Навіщо ти брехав мені і ранив? Навіщо ти тримав, не відпускав? Невже кохав мене так боляче і лживо? Щораз у серце ти ножа встромляв, Просив пробачення і знову убивав. Я щоночі обіцяла, що востаннє пробачаю, Більш не буду це терпіти, але знову пробачала. Довго так ми не могли, ти прийшов одного разу. Опустивши очі зашептав, Що не можеш більше так. Я все слухала й мовчала. Відпустила, не благала залишитися. Я знала, що не мій ти вже. Пусті слова, марні благання. Гіркі сльози й тяжкі зітхання. Усе минулося, слова забулися. Серце мертве б'ється в грудях. Тепер уже не боляче.

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last.
