Troy.

I opened my eyes as I looked around the hotel room. I turned off the alarm on my phone as I looked at the bed next to mine. It was empty. Jason still hasn't come back. We'll be leaving in an hour or two. I'm pretty sure he passed out in Tim's house and the other teammates thought it'd be funny to just leave him there. I unlocked my phone as I called Jason. The bell kept on going but he didn't pick it up.

Well, since I'm the captain it's my responsibility to get him back. Oh man, responsiblities suck. I don't even remember where Tim's house is. It was the first time I went there. I can ask Delilah about it. We exchanged numbers last night.

Last night was really fun. I have never really talked to anyone in my life as much as I talked to Delilah last night. It's been a while since I actually enjoyed a person's company this much.

I opened my contacts as I called Delilah. The bell rang twice before she picked.

"Hello." She said.

"Hey, Delilah. It's Troy."

"I know, dummy. I saved your number in my phone." She said and I let out a small laugh.

"Anyways, I needed a little help." I said.

"We just became friends and you're already asking for favours?"

"I'm not asking for favours. Can you send me Tim's address?" I said.

"Why?" She asked.

"One of my teammates hasn't returned yet. I think he might've passed out at the party."

"Well, I am at Tim's place. And by any chance the guy you're talking about has Brooklyn written on his jersey?"

"Yup that's the one." I said.

"Alright, don't worry I'll drop him off at the hotel." She said.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Yeah. I'm sure." She replied.

"Okay, thanks." I said.

"It's fine. Okay bye."

"Bye." And with that I hung up the phone.

I opened my phone's gallery as I looked through the pictures we took last night. Neal strictly told me that I'm not allowed to put these pictures online. I don't even care. I barely post anything online. I looked through the pictures as I opened one picture of me and Delilah. Neal took it with my phone. We both were laughing in it. I think we were arguing about our favourite ice cream flavour and then we ended up talking about astronauts. How that happened?  I don't know. But I think Neal took this picture when we were laughing at how we ended up talking about astronauts.

She's amazing. I feel pretty guilty now telling Flynn that he's a pathetic loser to be in love with her. I remember that day. We had won by a score of 5-2 in my hometown. We were at the after party at Blake's house.

I entered the house full of people. State Of Trance was buzzing in the speakers. As I entered the DJ yelled in his mic, "There he is! The man of the match!" The whole crowd cheered me up as I passed through. I greeted few of my teammates as I made my way to one corner I pulled a chair and sat down.

I hate parties. I don't even like going to them. But coach told me that it's important for me to celebrate with my team. I need to show them that I'm also a part of team. Since it's been like two months I joined the team.

"Hey, Maxwell." I heard a voice as I looked up at the person.

It was Flynn Jacobs, the new captain of Eastville Lions. He's a year above me.

"Why the hell aren't you celebrating?" He asked as he pulled a chair and sat down next to me.

"I don't feel like it." I shrugged.

"Come on! Man, you scored two freakin' awesome goals. Why you don't feel like it?" He asked me patting me on the shoulder.

I shrugged. "Can I ask you something?" I said.

"Yeah, sure." He said as he took a sip from his red cup.

"You seemed pretty distracted on the field today. Why?" I asked.

It was true. I've played against him before. But today he was just not into it. He was somewhere else.

He let out a chuckle. "It's my girlfriend's birthday. She's turning sixteen and I don't know what I should give to her." He said spining slowly the contents of liquid in his cup.

"You were thinking about that during a very important match?" I asked in surprise.

"Of course, I was. She's more important than any match." He replied.

I let out a chuckled. "You're a pathetic loser." I said in a low voice and he laughed.

"Yeah, I'm a pathetic loser in love." He said as he was staring into the crowd.

He was looking at a girl who was dressed up in Eastville high cheerleading uniform. She was talking to two other girls. She had her blonde hair tied up in a high pony tail. The delicacy on her face almost made her look like a doll. She was beautiful but I think Flynn's just stupid to drool over her this much. She seems like a typical cheerleader to me.

I smiled. "You know people say love hurts." I said and he laughed.

"It doesn't if it's with the right person." He said in a low voice. His eyes were still fixed on her.

This guy is going to ruin his whole carreer as a footballer for a stupid girl.

"Flynn!" The girl shouted from the crowd as she walked towards us. She snatched the cup from his hand and smelled it.

"I told you no alcohol." She said glaring at him.

"I just took a sip I swear." He said.

"That's it. I'm not talking to you." She said as she walked away from us taking his cup with him.

"Oh come on, Del." He said as he followed her.

He's right. He is a pathetic loser in love.

My phone rang as I sat up. It was Delilah. I attended her call.

"Hey, I'm outside the hotel. And I can not move this alone." She said.

"Yeah, I'll be there." I said as I quickly got up and left the room. I got into the elevator. After a few minutes the door dinged open in the hotel's lobby. I made my way outside. I saw Delilah's car parked. I made my way towards her car as she got out.

"Hey." She said as she closed the door.

"Hey." I replied.

"So I was clearing out trash from Tim's house and I found him in the bathroom. He was sleeping in the bath tub." She said as she opened the door.

I let out a laugh as I looked at his face someone really did show there artistic talent on his face with a sharpie.

"How did you get him in your car?" I asked.

"I didn't. Tim did. He had to clean up the place because his parents will be coming back home tonight. So I told him that I'll drop him off."

"Thank you." I told her and she smiled.

"No biggie." She shrugged.

From that night I was right about only one thing. She does look like a doll.
