JACK'S DEATH
-Scarlett, we gotta get out of here. We can't stay here long.
-Ok, let's go.
They got up and put on their clothes. Skylar inhaled deeply and smelled smoke. This surprised her, but after leaving the room, the smell disappeared instantly. They left the room and saw a bunch of patients. They needed to be released. Skylar freed them all, for which they were grateful. Despite the fact that they had gone mad, the instinct for self-preservation was still in their blood. They have thanked Skylar a million times, if not more. The patients wanted to get out and therefore were ready to jump out of the third floor window. They did just that. All were saved, Skylar and Scarlett remained. Skylar was about to jump when Jack grabbed her and threw her aside.
-Are you leaving already? I'm not done with you yet!
He had already swung the scalpel when a hole formed in his chest. Jack fell, instantly dying. The wraith killed Jack. Skylar was horrified. Then the ghost flew away, leaving behind a trail of smoke, but before that he again bled out. Scarlett ran to her older sister.
-Skylar! Let's go!
Skylar came to her senses and with Scarlett she went to the window.
-I still bleed in places. If I fall, I may die of internal hemorrhage, perhaps I will break something else. We need to exit through the door.
Scarlett looked out the window and saw patients running over the horizon away from this damned place.
'I hope they return home as we do.' ;-thought Scarlett, holding Skylar on the right shoulder...
