Spinning around in shock
She came face to face
with a familiar stranger
Unsure what her reply should be
She held back her tongue
in uncertain skeptism
The kindness in his eyes
Brought her great calm
Settling waves of peace
All through her spine
The demeanour of his presence
Unthawing her nerves
As the aura of his grace
pervaded her senses
She knew nothing at this twinkling
But in this very moment
One thing was for sure
She had come into the arms of safety
