Today we are going to get a dog from the dog pound. It's my birthday, so it will be like a present. My mother wants a tiny dog, you know women are taking them in theirs bags. My father wants to have a huge strong dog. And I have to choose.
We are at the dog pound. I see a lot of dogs. And one of them has a broken paw. Almost every dog tries to show me themself. But not this one. His eyes are big and full of sadness. Other dogs are happy to see us. But he isn't. I choose this sad dog. The women say that his previous owner was drinking alcohol and one day broke dog's paw by accident. My mother is going to cry. And father agrees to take this poor dog. Now I have a new friend.
