I've known you for a short while, Like droplets of water slip from a lily, You've grown in me like the nile When it goes on and on its way, silly. Little I ever knew when you felt vile For I was in love and I felt dilly, Can, after all, we go to that extra mile? Or we can spend time with words, really. How very intense was our romance But little did we have each others time Was our love just a matter of chance? But we loved the idea of us and our plans Maybe, I would spend time in art and in rhyme, But we never loved us for the time we ever had.

I Saw a Dream

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
