Ch.6: Honesty
There are many subtle and not so subtle differences between the concepts of Truth, Integrity, and Honesty. Often they can be and are misinterpreted more and more because of their similarities. Just as the concepts of perspective and perception are two different things surely although just as commonly misused as well as misunderstood. Not only do these Concepts share similarities but they share a corresponding relationship with one another. This is what makes it so confusing for a lot of people.
While perspective is by definition the technique or process of representing on a plane or curved surface the spatial relation of objects as they might appear to the eye specifically. Perception on the other hand by definition is the way you think about or understand someone or something rather than more simply making an observation or judgement with the eyes solely as is done with perspective.
Now onto the explanation of the differences between the concepts of Truth, Integrity, and Honesty. it is important to discuss the differences as well as the similarities for the purpose of clarity and better understanding each concept individually but for now we will start with the differences that separate each one for it's own right to be deemed worthy of being labeled as a concept.
Okay so since by definition the concept of Truth is by definition the body of real things, events, and facts and the definition of Integrity is an adherence to moral and ethical principles or a sound, unimpaired or perfect condition. Such as, in the form of an example the integrity of a well founded structure. When we look at the definition of honesty however, it is to be good and truthful, not lying or cheating. The quality or fact of being fair and upright.
It is very clear about the obvious similarities and relationships between these concepts of which we will talk about later in this paragraph. However for now we are going to imagine that the peaces to a business suit are representatives of each of the three concepts in the form of clothing.
For example if Truth is your necktie and Integrity your undershirt then that would make Honesty your overcoat in order to, pants aside give you a reputable appearance for society. Therein the differences between these concepts is that they are all uniquely and originally morally wholistic yet still overlap each other individually through teamwork providing you with a solid, confident, and trustworthy structure of character by starting from the original foundation of life's Concepts at Positive Thought= Positive Change. Realizing that only through Truth and Integrity can we improve our Self-Esteem Honestly. To grow internally in order to reach a true, genuine, and  honest understanding of life's Concepts ultimately getting you closer and more prepared for not only learning them but also prepared to put them to good use.
