Я прийду, щоб з тобою змогла Я побути хоча би хвилинку, Та сказати тобі: "Прибула", У старесеньку нашу хатинку. Я придумаю казку тобі Про машинки та потяг несправний, Тільки прошу, в життя не іди, Залишися моїм ти хлоп'ятком. Книжечки я тобі напишу, Де з малятком пограються феї, Тільки будь молодим, я прошу, Не лишай, брату, в смуточку темнім. На останок скажу тобі я, Що кохають тебе всі довкола, Та сміються, коли слова Ти говориш смішні удома. Я цілую тебе вночі, Хоч і холодно, може, і темно, Але знаю я - ми на печі, Та зігріємось разом, напевно. Моєму братику

And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
