Chapter 6-Fans
"You three better go to bed soon you have School in the morning," my mum told us when we entered.
"I don’t have to go to School, so do I get to stay up?" Alex asked. Hadn’t his mum told him that he would be attending my School while here? I thought.
"You do. You will be attending Ellie’s and Annie’s School while here," his mum responded. He looked at her raising his eyebrows.
"Oh, yeah I remember the head teacher had said you was going to be attending, in assembly, " I stated, as I recalled the events of yesterday morning.
"What so I was the last to know? Why am I always the last to know things? I should be the first to know if it involves me, " he said raising his voice slightly.
"I thought it would be a nice surprise to well you know attended Ellie’s School, so you can spend more time together until filming starts," his mum said calmly.
Alex relaxed at her words, his shoulders and voice lowered when he said, "well yeah it kinda is a nice surprise."
Now that Alex was calm and no arguments were going to arise we sat and watched the TV with our parents for a little while before heading to bed. Alex’s mum took the spare room, me and Abbie shared my room and Alex slept downstairs on the sofa.
I really couldn’t wait too see the look on Natalie’s face tomorrow. It would be priceless. A grin found it’s way onto my face. School and Natalie’s mean comments would be just that more bearably with Alex here. I laid down on my pillow still grinning uncontrollably.
I can’t wait for morning to come.

The next day me and Abbie were in the kitchen eating breakfast when Alex entered wearing his new uniform. "Look at you in your new uniform," I said waving my spoon around.
"Yeah, you look very nice. Very handsome," Abbie stated, dropping her own spoon in her bowl of cornflakes, a little bit of milk jumped out.
"You taking the mick?" He asked as he walked in further. Abbie looked away from him and stared down at her bowl.
"No, of course not. I was genuinely giving you a compliment," she said her cheeks turning bright red and she shifted in her seat uncomfortably.
Seriously? Seriously she has a crush on him? She had never told me. I should have known but it’s not like she ever saw him in person before, just spoke on the phone but know I could see how obvious it was.
"Well thank you," he said. She looked back up at him smiling again and then returned to eating her food.
Alex got something to eat and once we were all finished eating we headed of to school. Alex thought it would be a good idea to wear a baggy hoody over his uniform, hood up and all and some sunglass even though it wasn’t sunny. He said that it would help to remain hidden from fans and the press so they could walk to school peacefully. Abbie and I on the other hand didn’t agree that his little plan would would work.
Although surprisingly it had until we reached the school gates and was beginning to walk through the gates. Two seven year students approached us. One hid behind her friend, fidgeting nervously.
"Hi, excuse me, are you Alex Jonson?" The girl in front asked, her voice slightly shaky, but there was a hint of excitement in her eyes.
Alex stopped and so did Abbie and I. Alex looked at them as he removed his sunglasses and smiled. "I am. You two are fans, I suppose. What are your names?" He asked and the girl jumped slightly as if she was unsure before, but now that she knew for certain it was him, she was shocked. Her friend behind her stopped fidgeting and finally glanced up at Alex, with giant grin on her face.
"Layla," the girl in front said.
"Mi-Mia," the girl behind stuttered.
"It’s nice to meet you Layla and Mia," Alex stated.
"Ermm... If. If it’s not much trouble would you mind ermm, signing our Book of Fear posters please?" The girl who had done the least amount of talking asked finally stepping to the side of her friend so we could see her.
"Sure, why not," Alex replied.
"Thank you so much, " she muttered as her and her friend pulled out two folded up posters from their bags.
"Should we go inside, I can try and find a table, " Alex suggested. They nodded and we headed inside School.
Once inside a classroom Alex took one from the girls and unfolded it, then placing it on the table. I handed him a pen from my bag and he signed it. Returned the poster. Then signed the other. As soon as he did the bell rang signaling the start of school.
We said goodbye to the two girls and we all left the classroom. Before heading to our own classes Abbie and I showed Alex to the reception.
"I thought you wanted to remain hidden from fans, while here?" Abbie asked him as the three of us walked down the corridor.
"Well, I can’t really hide at School can I?" He replied.
We reached the reception, and left Alex to get his timetable. I hoped he would be able to find his way to first lesson. Maybe, someone at the reception or a teacher would show him the way.
I waved goodbye to Abbie as she headed down the corridor and I then turned around, pushed the door open to my classroom and entered.
