Chapter 9- Excited
Once School had finished Alex and I walked Abbie home. We left her at the garden gate; said, "goodbye" and then headed back to mine. When we got there it was just our mother's who where home because my father was still working. He wasn't due home till six, so we said, "hello" and then went to the kitchen to talk and go over Alex's lines again.

We sat down at the table, with some coffee and biscuits. "How would you like to come see where we are filming some of the film tomorrow?" He asked me.

"Really? Of course I would," I beamed with a smile on my face.

"Okay, tomorrow you can come with me," he told me as he grabbed another biscuit.

"Is that allowed? Bringing someone with you to set?" I was wondered.

"Well as long as you don't run in front of any recording camera's or cause any trouble or tell anyone anything about it that can't be told yet," he said.

"You know I won't," I said as I felt my excitement growing.

Later once my dad got home we sat with our parents to eat dinner.

"Alex, is going to take me to see where they are filming tomorrow," I pointed out after finishing a bite of food.

"That's nice," my mother said, with a smile.

After dinner our parents let us play on the PlayStation 4 for awhile until it was time for bed or until we started to feel tired.

We also had changed into our pajamas just after dinner, so that after playing we could go straight to bed. Now, we sat on the sofa, playing a zombie game while our parents were up stairs watching TV.

"I'm so happy you're here. That we get to spend time together," I told Alex but my eyes were still glued to the TV because we were in battle and I didn't want to die.

"Yeah, me too. I've missed this," he agreed.

"It's just not the same face calling," I pointed out.

"You're right," he said.

"But you're nearly always too busy to come up to visit," I told him as we killed the last monster.

"I'm not busy now," he stated turning to face me smiling. I couldn't help but to notice that even in his pajamas he looked cute. I could see why girls fancied him, but I never felt that way about him. To me he was just Alex, my best friend and always would be.

"No, you're not," I said back and found myself smiling back.

"Then let's have fun. Let's try complete this level," he ordered, turning back to the TV.

"OK," I agreed turning back to the TV as well.

The level was nearly finished when I found myself stretching, and yawning.

"Should we go to bed?" Alex wondered.

"We could try to finish the level and then head to bed," I suggested.

"But it's getting late and your tired. We could finish it another night," he said.

"But you start filming next week," I pointed out.

"Precisely, next week on Tuesday. We still have the weekend and Monday," he said.

"True," I mumbled quietly.

"Then let's head to bed." He paused and saved the game.

"OK." I got up from my seat and turned the  TV and PlayStation off. Alex got up from the sofa too and placed his pillow at the right hand side.

"Goodnight," I said to Alex and he turned to face me.

"Goodnight see you tomorrow," he said and was about to turn back around, but I stepped forward and hugged him tightly. "I'm always up for a hug, but why?"

"Thank you," I replied.

"What for?" He questioned.

I let him go and stepped back before replying with, "sorry I'm just very excited for tomorrow. I really can't wait to see were their filming and what filming a movie looks like."

"Oh, well you're welcome," he said.

I just smiled and headed for the stairs stopping just in the doorway to the hall. "Sleep well, Alex," I said.

"You too, Ellie," he said back and then I left to head upstairs to sleep.
