Broken Mirrors
I'm in you and you are in me
And in all the places we've ever been,
Carrying pieces of one another.
For every You in Me there lives a Me in You
And in you I see, nothing but a reflection of me,
So when I was lost and I couldn't be found
I searched and searched for my pieces,
And I found and found that they were all broken
Just as broken was I as well...
Like shattered pieces of silvered glass
But I picked up all my pieces, little-by-little
And an object was so-formed before me,
Through the cracks of emptiness and brokenness of it all
An image could now be seen...
A mirror in which myself was clear
One that reminds me of me.

(We leave parts of ourselves in places we go, people we meet. They are like mirrors to us. There's a part of us in them. What we see in others is a reflection of our own self. God is within us. If you ever get broken apart into pieces, or shattered, or lost, or don't know who you are then just observe your surroundings, observe the people and you'll find yourself. You'll heal...pick up the pieces and you'll start to create a mirror in which slowly you'll be able to see yourself.)
P.S. - This poem has been inspired by an episode of 13RW. Also, it is a sequel of my poems 'Remind Me of Me' and 'Image'
