День за днем. За роком рік. Так минув, здається, цілий вік. Щодня стихає той блаженний спів. Надії паросток, що так любив. Надія, мов дівчина та молода. Знесилила її біда, але вона жива. Пливе, несеться крізь моря. Міцна на ній тепер броня. Вона пливе вселяє віру у серця Там, де щодня здригається земля. Там, де кров'ю залиті всі поля. Там, де плачуть навіть небеса. За тих, кого вже покинула душа І їх нестерпний біль несе сльоза. Неможливо передати у словах, Коли живих не лишилось у домах.
