Іду у ніч, допоки зорі проводжають у дорогу. Сміється місяць і посміхається вода, Життя іде, і світло пропускає темінь до порогу І одиноко спить червоная, як кров земля. Іду у ніч, в обійми темні і холодні Допоки усі сплять, але вперед іду лиш я, Іду, допоки тут і зараз ще моє "сьогодні", Дорогу бачу лише я та ніч моя. І стежка все петляє в темінь лісу, І ніч гукає за собою вслід, Уже "сьогодні" опуска свою завісу, А темінь лісу стане як холодний міцний лід.
