Ce soir les étoiles brillent, Rien de nouveau Mais je sais qu'à des milles Tu attends un renouveau. Ce soir il est venue à toi Notre étoile c'est éteinte Te souviendras-tu de moi ? Quand les étoiles auront fini Que la Lune se sera enfui Mon nom te reviendra-t-il ? Je sais, je rêve trop Dans la nuit tout me semble beau Dirais-tu qu'il est trop tôt ? Tu reste avec moi comme un roi Jamais tu ne reviendras Pourquoi tu me hante comme ça ? Tant pis, ce soir loin je partirai Dans la nuit d'été Étoile je deviendrais. / Ce poème est ma participation au concours de @MotsEnVrac /

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
