Світло ліхтарів На темному шосе, Їду я вночі, Знаю, ТИ десь є. Руки на кермі, Очі на дорозі, Скільки мені ще? Я більше не в змозі. Але тисну на газ Що є духу, Де б не була – Знайду я! Проїхав укотре на червоне світло. Позаду гори, Попереду літо. По радіо грає Наша улюблена пісня. Знаю, ТИ десь є, Почуй, обізвися. І знову порушив, На повну я мчуся, Але мене не спиняють, Бо не їду, лечу я. У дорозі я вже так довго, Із нею зріднився І тішу надіями, що скоро, за рогом, За час той багато змінилось. Не ті ліхтарі, Не та вже дорога, я знов на горі І ніч здалася коротка.

I saw a dream, and there were you, And there was coldness in your eyes. I wonder what a kind of true Made you become as cold as ice. And later I looked back to get a sense This empty glance was hellish call of past. It used to be a high and strong defense Against the world, the pain and me at last. You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
