Квітне сад за дверцятами серця, Таємничий, не знаний людьми... Так під небом одвіку ведеться – Там, де світло – немає пітьми. Так немає й в любові образи, Й суму, відчаю, гніву нема. То не правда, що є в ній накази, То брехня, що люблю я дарма. Таємницю любові збагнути Не під силу людині ніяк, Лише Бог знає, буть чи не бути, Й не буває її просто так... Якщо любиш – радій! Значить, серце Не скували одвічні льоди, Значить, в ньому тепло віднайдеться, Як любов завітала туди.

You looked at me, and peering in your soul, I felt so lonely, as something vital died. And that is what I fear most of all - That nothing gentle will remain inside. Inside of you. Inside of me as well. And nothing will be said to farewell.
