I can feel something cold holding my cheeks. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Mother's face.

“My little darling” she said while giving me her beautiful smile.

“Looks like you don't feel so good” Said mother while looking at me with her blue beautiful eyes. Mother's white hair makes her attractive.

I didn't answer her I just gave her a hug. I feel so tired recently thinking that I would someday be enough. I never dreamt to have a wedding with someone I don't love. I want something real.

I can feel mother's heartbeat, her arms are around me. I feel so safe when she's around. She's the only one who took good care of me. She's the only one who cares. Aside from her? I'm just a nobody. They treated me like I'm some kind of a tool that whenever you're finish using I would be thrown away.

I hated everyone except mother. Until I met him. Liam. The person who changed my life but it was too impossible to have him by my side forever.

“I was in college back then when I first met Venus. Venus was the name she gave us. She was this fearless, scary and adorable girl. I wasn't her first friend to be honest. It was your mother, Liam ”Father explained.

So my mother and Tala's mother are actually best friends?

“Your mother Liam knew that I liked Venus from the very start. So we made a move. She helped me to be part of Venus's life and we did. We became close and end up being a lover. We were a couple for almost five years but- “Father took a deep breath.

“But the government found out about Venus. They wanted to know more about the outside world. So they wanted to took her away from me

Good thing I was studying science back then, I really do hate science before but Venus made me love it. I created a portal which can be used only for once because I never perfected it. It was too complicated ”Father continue explaining.

“So before Venus go, she told me forget her and live a normal life. After that I never saw her again. The government didn't saw her again. The portal was destroyed and I was left alone

But your mother never left me. She stayed by my side and gave me the love the she thinks I deserves.

“Then why did you marry Liam's mother if you really love my mother?” Tala asked.

“I did waited for your mother but she never came back. So I thought maybe it is time to move on. I did love your mother Liam. I really do.

There was a complete silence inside the room. No one was saying any word.

“Don’t worry Liam. It was my fault forcing your father to love me ”Said mother from behind.

“I accepted your father and so he did. It wasn't a perfect relationship but I felt love. Maybe you just can't give the same love twice ”mother smiled and kissed me from my forehead.

My mother hugged father from behind. It was too painful to know how both of them suffered.

Tala didn't know what to say. Just like me she's too speechless. Until-
