'Is everything okay? You look so pale.'

  'Yes, kind of. I have to see Mrs Asleen today. I`ve called her. She is free till 12 o`clock.'

  'Why are you looking at the floor? Have you done something?'

  'No, please, I just feel like I should see her.' Lily looked at Tom. His wings were too broken to look at. The blood was coming from its injuries.

  'I worry about you but I think I don`t have any options. You have to say to me that everything is good.'

  'I feel good. Please, take me to her office.'

  'Sure.' He sighed and put on his black coat.

  On their way Lily wasn`t looking anywhere except her phone. Maybe, it`s ordinary for some teens but not for her. Mr Gilbert felt it, but he supposed that there are things that he cannot help with.

  'Good morning, Lily. Your message sounded as an emergency, isn`t it?' Worriedly said Mrs Asleen.

  'I think I might have hallucinations.'

  'Do you hear voices in your head?'

  'No, it`s more like I see wings on every person`s back.'

  'Even on my one?'

  'No, it can have a periodic effect.'

  'You have to listen to me carefully. You are not crazy.'

  'I see wings! There is no way of me being ordinary!' Yelled Lily.

  'Listen to me. It`s okay.'

  'No, no, no. You can be my another hallucination. I might me talking to one of my personalities.'

  'That`s not true. Please, calm down.'

  'I can`t.' Said Lily and ran to the house. She needed more than an hour to do it but her head was full of these weird wings and Kate`s words. 'She couldn`t be real. That was just in my head. I should turn back home, fell asleep and everything bad will go away.' Thought Lily.

  'Why haven`t you called me?' Asked Mr Gilbert when Lily ran through him like she hasn`t seen him.

  She ran upstairs, closed her door, lied on the bed and took her pillow to cover her head. She thought like it was an end to her life. 'I will die a madman.' Thought Lily when her leg, that was hanging over a bed, crashed into something. She got up from the bed to look what it was. It was a book from parent`s gift on her 17th Birthday. It fell over because of Lily`s leg and a letter fell out from it.

Dear daughter,

Hi! I think it’s time to talk. As you can see this book is really huge but now you need only first, second and third chapters. If you opened it, that means you started seeing wings. Maybe you even decided that you are crazy. But that`s not right. It’s normal. Me and your dad also can do it (could if to be correct). We are called "Wingies". And we are not normal. Wingies on the first stage can just see wings of others. Wings show person`s level of brokenness. We have great power to help them. Just remember : No wings can became unbroken after your help. You can just make them less broken. Sounds unreal. How could I possibly predict that it will happen to you. But you can ask as many questions as you want. Elizabeth, find an Agent. Agent - person who helps Wingies with their problems. Agent are basically people who have 1 parent Wingy and another one ordinary human. They don’t have our powers. You need to find my friend Agent Neelsa. It’s her real name, but she can use another one. Find her! She will explain everything.

  Lily read the letter with eyes full of cries. The book was huge, and she had to deal with it on her own. She understood nothing from the letter, but she opened first chapter. She wanted to believe that she is not crazy.

  First chapter told Lily some basic definitions like Wingies, Agents, First stage. There were almost 3 pages to each of these definitions. However, it was too hard for her to understand what were they about.

  'So I have something just like superpower to see people`s wings. My parents were definitely crazy.' Thought Lily. 'But I  should do something. Just try. What can go wrong? Who will be my first target? Let’s start from someone close. Like Mr Gilbert. But how can I help him? Maybe he needs to talk with someone.'

  'Mr Gilbert, may I come in?' Asked Lily, standing in front of Tom`s room.

  'Sure.' Answered he.

  'What is it?' Asked Lily and pointed her finger at paper which Mr Gilbert was holding.

  'Alice decided to do it.' Said Mr Gilbert and started to cry. 'She promised that we will wait until Jace will be 18. Not to hurt him.'

  'Why she decided to do it?' Wondered Lily.

  'She fell in love with another man. One of that alcoholics she was drinking with.'

  Mr Gilbert`s wings started breaking more and more. The blood was coming all over them. It seemed like there was not even a single place without an injury.

  'Do you love her?'

  'Why do you ask it? Of course. Another way I wouldn’t have married her.'

  'Does she love you? How do you think?'

  'I don’t know.'

  'Don’t lie to me! You see it every day. She doesn’t love you. She wanted it all the time I have been here.'

  'What it?'

 'A divorce. She cheated on you 3 times before she became alcoholic. Then I stopped counting. And you always forgive her. Just because she is a mother of your children. Now you are crying while she is happy. Everything should be another way.'

  'How children will grow up without their mother?' Asked Mr Gilbert.

  'At least we have Lily.' Added Tony, who has entered the room.' I’m so sorry, I didn’t know. My mom told me that dad cheated on her with your mother and that`s why you are here. And that you are his child. I didn’t know the truth.'

  'That`s nothing. Come here. Your dad needs you and your help more than ever.' Suggested Lily.

  'I am so happy that you finally made peace.' Said happy Mr Gilbert and hugged his daughters.

  'His wings. They became better. But not whole. Maybe one day they won’t be broken. Maybe my parents weren’t crazy.' Thought Lily.

  'Are you divorcing, dad?' Asked two little boy`s voices.

  'This family knows nothing about privacy.' Joked Lily.

  'Unfortunately, yes.' Answered Tom.

  'Finally! I was waiting for it. I mean, now we won’t see drunk mother and unhappy father every day, will we? Said John.

  'Do you think our life will be better without her?' Asked shocked Mr Gilbert.

  'YES!' Answered all kids.

  'I love you. I thought you won`t be happy without a mother.' Said Mr Gilbert.

  If you want to know kid`s wings were broken but not as much as Mr Gilbert`s are. Lily decided to go to her room and check out other chapters. Maybe, she isn`t that crazy.
