'That`s not your fault. We are okay and that`s good. But Jace, he was so scared. And so do I. I thought, that she was going to kill us, unless we go. My decision was quite predictable.' Said Lily.  

  'Daddy, will it happen again?' Asked little Jace.

  'No, I hope.' Said Mr Gilbert and looked at Lily. They both knew the answer but Jace is just a child who does not deserve to go through all of that. He is only 5. He needs normal childhood, not like that.

  'Do you want to go to Mrs Asleen?' Asked Mr Gilbert.

  'Yeah. I think, I want to tell her something.' Answered Lily.

  After coming home they found out that Alice went away after the accident and did not return. Mr Gilbert had a huge hope that nothing bad will happen to Jace, but he had asked their neighbour Mrs Cam to stay with the children and call in case of Alice`s arrival.

  Lily felt nothing this time. Not a pain coming from the chest, not even troubles with breathing. It felt like nothing has happened. She was quite worried but it did not feel like usually.

   'Lily, I heard what have happened. How are you?' Asked Mrs Asleen.

  'I am good. I need to ask you...' Tried to say Lily, when psychologist interrupted her.

  'Next time just call me. I have one free room. Furthermore, I live not far from you.'

  'Thanks. May I...' Said Lily, when Mrs Asleen interrupted her again.

  'That`s so bad. You are just a child. Poor child.'

  'Can I say something without interrupting from your side?!' Shouted angry Lily.

  'Of course.' Answered Mrs Asleen.

  'Sorry, I didn't mean to get angry. I am so sorry.'

  'That`s good to get angry sometimes. You shouldn`t keep all of your anger inside.'

  'I know that it's normal but it had never happened before. I feel like something is changing in me. Like I am not the Lily I was a few years ago. Something has changed and I don`t know what exactly.'

  'I wouldn`t tell you typical things like you are a teen and that is normal or it`s all your growing body. Because it`s not the main reason. You have gone through lots of things in your life. Many bad things happened to you since you firstly came to me about half a year before. You just have to know one thing. I am here and I always ready to support you. I`ll be on your side no matter what happens.'

  'Thank you. That was the words I needed to hear. May I ask you a question?'

  'Sure.'

  'What were you talking about, when I’ve just went out from your office?'

  'That`s private information. I cannot to tell you.'

  'So, you are talking about trusting you, when you discuss me with someone else. Sorry, but I should go.'

  'Lily!' Disappointedly said Kate before Lily left the office. 

  Kate shook her head and tried to stop her feelings. They got really close for these 6 moths, and she thought that now Lily is going to trust her.

  'Why are you so fast?' Asked Mr Gilbert, that was waiting for Lily in the car.

  'She has some problems at home and asked me to end earlier.' Lied Lily.

  'Good, we`ll have time to make pizza at home with boys.' Said Mr Gilbert.

  The time in car were even more stressful for Lily. She was angry but also quite calm. These feeling could make her mad, but she was calmed down by something coming from inside her. So when they have reached home, she asked Tom to give her some time to think over, and then she`ll join them. Lily locked in her room just to be alone for a minute. But Gilbert`s has never understood the meaning of the word alone.

  'Lily, sorry... You know, I was so scared. She was shouting. I needed to do something.' Explained John, when he entered Lily`s room.

  'John, that`s not your fault. You are just a kid.' Answered Lily.

  'And so do you. You are just 17 and you have nothing that others have like cool expensive phone, boyfriend or extra money from parents.'

  'John... These are not the things that I need in my life. I just want to have an ordinary life with some typical problems that can be solved.'

  'Cannot every problem be solved? You used to tell me that when I was a kid.'

  'My life showed me that I was wrong. Sometimes you can do nothing.'

  'What about a bucket of ice cream can make any mood better?'

  'I am sorry but can you please leave the room. I`d like to be on my own for some time.'

  'Wouldn`t you make pizza with us? Daddy wasn`t at home for that long since Jace was born.'

  'Or since your mom became an alcoholic.' Added Lily.

  'She is not an alcoholic! They leave their families or die too early! She isn`t going to be like them! She will change! You are wrong!' Shouted John and ran to his room crying.

  Lily went after him, she couldn`t control her words. They were like coming to her mind and weren`t stopped by anything like it was before.

  'John, I am terribly sorry. I didn`t mean to hurt you.' Sadly explained Lily.

  'I know but you are wrong!' Sobbed John.

  'I am wrong. You see I am wrong all the time. I just try to be a good right person but I can't.'

  'How can a person be right? Am I right person?'

  'Yes, you are. I am sorry for saying that to you.'

  'Apology accepted.' Stated John and left his room to hug Lily who was standing next to his door.

  'I believe, you are right person.' Whispered John while hugging her

  'I think, I can join your bakery club in a few minutes. Will you leave me some work?'

  'Sure, daddy will be so happy to hear that.'

  Lily went back to her room, but everything was ruined again in a way she had never expected.

  'Why did you come back? Do you really want to repeat this story?' Asked Tony who saw Lily going to the kitchen.

  'Tony, let’s talk later.' Proposed Lily.

  'Oh, of course.' Sarcastically said Tony. 'I won’t lose opportunity to made your mood worse than it is.'

  'Why I am not shocked?'

  'Oops!' Added Tony, when she spilled water on Lily`s phone.

  'No! What have you done? I have no money for new!'

  'Go and say it to your parents. Oh, they are dead, sorry, I forgot.'

  'Girls!' Shouted Mr Gilbert. 'Stop! Tony, go to your room!'

  'Father came to protect his "daughter" from devil, that called biological daughter.' barked Tony.

  'Go to your room!' Repeated Mr Gilbert.

  'Okay, okay,' Answered Tony and went to her room.

  Lily started to cry. She knew, that she couldn’t afford a new one and Mr Gilbert just bought Tony an expensive phone, so he couldn’t do it too.

  'She is going to change. One day she will realize how much pain she caused to good people and everything will change.'

  'If life gave me a necessary lesson it was: "People do not change.".'

  'You forget about the second part of these quote. Unless they don`t want to.'

  'How can you be sure that she will want to do it?'

  'I used to have a friend. Let’s call him Michael. He was a bad friend. He was only causing troubles to anyone around him. Michael could easily forget about his close friend`s birthday and act like nothing happened. He was rude and arrogant.'

  'And what made him the best person I`ve ever met in my life?'

  'Right people. Actually, some of them are still changing him to best. First of them was Alice. She was so kind when she was around your age. You can definitely say that she was a teachers pet, a straight A-student and an only child in her family just by looking at her. Can you guess who were the second one?'

  'Tony...'

  'Yes, she taught me things that I was far from for so many years. True love, patience and happiness. In fact, I would never become a doctor if I hadn't had Tony. And I would never meet such a great person as you. You were born optimistic. Only you try to stay so even in the worst days. I wish I would be ever the same good as you are.'

  'Could Michael`s friends or family do something for him?'

  'They could wait and be patient.'
