'Dear family, I am so happy that we are finally together. And that we got rid of Nancy. She was a bad dog. An awful one. And on these great date we can finally greet Jace with his 6th Birthday.' Congratulated Lily.
'Sit down, our dear poet.' Sarcastically interrupted Tony.
'Thank you. Am I adult now?' Asked Jace.
Everyone laughed. It was a typical Birthday each of them has dreamt about for so many years. Family atmosphere with charming song and breathtaking stories could not be interrupted by anything. Mr Gilbert even asked for 2 days off work to finally become a family. Just Gilberts, tea and their wings. None of them had pure wings. Pure wing are the ones that was never damaged or wasn`t damaged enough to make an injury. Sure thing is that it was painful for Lily to see kids` wings as their age was too young to go through all of this.
The next day Lily made a huge decision to find Grace. She wasn`t at home such as her parents and no one knows from her "book club" where she was. Even the headmaster said that her parents didn`t explain anything.
'What if something bad had happened to her? I have called all hospitals nearby the city, I have tried to find her new online pages, but she has disappeared. God knows why.' Complained Lily.
'You have been staying with her grandparents when you two were on holiday, weren`t you?' Proposed Tony.
'Yes, you are right. At least they can know where she is. You are genius.'
'I can also look after John and Jace. I am their sister either.'
'That would be great. I should go now, till it becomes too late. Say Mr Gilbert that I`ll be home in the evening.'
'But it`s just 8 a.m.'
'The way there can take more than 4 hours. I also have to find a bus and its schedule.' Explained Lily.
'Good luck.' Said Tony.
'Wasn`t that the best dialogue we have ever had? Life becomes better and better.' Thought Lily. 'Hope, Racy isn`t in trouble.'
She went to the bus station, checked the schedule and sit on the bench to wait for the bus. She had around an hour to wait. Lily took her phone and messaged to Tony.
- The bus leaves at 10 a.m. I`ll be home around 7 p.m.
- Okay, kids said that they already miss you.
- You are a great sister. Give them some more time.

'I hope, I wouldn't waste my time there. Otherwise, Grace is lost for me. I don`t want it to be so...' Thought Lily when she heard a crying kid on the other side of the road. She crossed it to ask what is wrong.
'What has happened?' Asked Lily.
'I lost my mom.' Answered the boy.
'Where is she? Do you know her name or maybe a phone number?'
'She is right there.' Said the boy and pointed his finger at the cemetery.
'Let’s go. I`ll take you to your mom. Were you two there to memorize someone?'
'Kind of.'
'She might be so worried. Can you describe her?'
'She is tall, slim and bold. She has this white dress and a red bracelet. She told me that it brings luck.'
'Can you call for her? Maybe she will hear and come for you.'
'I know where she is exactly.'
'Show me.'
They were coming deeper in the cemetery. Lily felt like she mustn`t help this boy. But then she looked at his wings. One of them was really damaged. She felt really sorry for the boy, so she continued going after him even though she had a horrifying feeling.
'Here we are.' said the boy.
Lily couldn`t see even a single person nearby.
'She isn`t here. You should call for her.'
'No, she is.' Said the boy and pointed his finger at the grave.
'I am terribly sorry.'
'Everyone is but it doesn`t make it easier.'
'I know that feeling of brokenness. Come with me. I`ll show you something.'
'You sound like a maniac.'
'You did the same to you a minute ago.'
'Why does there 2 names on one grave?'
'They`ve died together in one day. 09.10.2006'
'Are they your parents?'
'Yep.'
'How did it happen that they are here? I mean the same as my mom.'
'It`s the closest cemetery to the city. I think I will be lying here one day too.'
'Don`t you want to live in a bigger city?'
'Yes, I enjoy being here. I have the best family I could ever imagine.'
'What about friends?'
'I was about to find her until you came. Are you here with your dad?'
'Yes, but I got lost.' Explained the boy.
'Is he alive?'
'Yes.'
'Let’s come back to your mom. He will find you there.'
'How could you so easily talk about your parents? Doesn`t it hurt?'
'Of course, and it`s good. As long as I feel pain, I am a human. This pain became even positive.'
'How?'
'I know that I could do nothing. They would like me to live a life without thinking about them all the time.'
'Do you think my mom wanted me to forget about her? Sobbed the boy.
'No, of course, no. I mean you will get used to it one day because you`ll know that she had died loving you. Just remember that she is always watching you. Make her to be proud of you.'
'Thanks.' Whispered the boy and hugged Lily.
One of his injury stopped blooding. Wings started looking whiter and the boy even smiled to Lily.
'Jake! Here you are! I thought you ran away and got lost! Thanks, God, you are alive!' Yelled an old man with grey hair and an old-fashioned clothes.
'I am sorry for your lost.' Remarked Lily.
'Thanks for getting him back.'
'You are welcome.'
Lily ran to the bus stop because it was almost the time. Fortunately, she didn`t miss the bus and all the way to the village she was thinking of the boy.
'I could help him to cure fully. I just needed to spend more time with him. Why did I run? I could tell... No, I couldn`t. They wouldn`t like me to do it.' Thought Lily sitting in the bus.
