'Sorry Lily. I was really afraid.' Apologized Jace.

  'I understand. Don’t blame yourself. You are just a child.' Explained Lily.

  'If you hurry up, I will give a lift to your psychologist!' Shouted Mr Gilbert from his car.   

  'Give me 5 minutes. I need to take a shower after hospital.' Answered Lily.

  Psychologist was actually a person Lily needed that time. She has never felt so many bad emotions in a day and the thing her body was making after each challenge made her think that she might have lost her mind.

  'Good evening, Mrs Asleen.' Called Lily.

  'Hi, Lily. You can call me Kate. That will help us to trust each other.' Explained psychologist.

  'Sorry I am late.'

  'I know what happened, so I even wasn’t waiting for you.'

  'How do you know?' Asked Lily.

  'I shouldn’t say that, but Mr Gilbert is also my client.' Answered Kate.

  'Oh, I really didn’t know. So, I shouldn’t tell you the whole story.' Understood Lily.

  'Does anything else happened to you? Maybe something good. It`s better to concentrate on some good things.'

  'I had a present from my parents.'

  'Is it that necklace?' Asked Kate.

  'How do you know it?' Wondered Lily.

   'I am a psychologist. I have to see changes. And I thought that you will always keep the present nearby as a reminder of them.' Said Kate and added 'Can you turn your pendant to another side?'

  'Yes. There is my family`s surname.'

  'Page...' Read Kate and looked strangely at Lily.

  'Is something wrong?' Asked Lily.

  'I know, that it’s painful but can you say again. In what year your parents died?'

  'In 2006. Does it mean something?' 

  'No. Just a thought. Sorry, we need to end today earlier.'

 'That`s nothing.' 

  Lily went to the corridor, where was her jacket. Suddenly, she heard Kate speaking loudly to  somebody on the phone.

  'That is definitely she. I know, that she must be dead, but she has the same pendant as Nicol had. I think she doesn’t know.' Heard Lily, when Mr Gilbert said :

  'What are you doing? It can be private. You shouldn`t eavesdrop.'

  'But she is talking about me! Sorry. Let’s go home.' Suggested Lily.

  Mr Gilbert agreed but the whole way home Lily was thinking of the conversation. "Who they were talking about? Maybe it wasn`t about me. Just another girl with a necklace. It cannot be a coincidence" Thought Lily.

  All of these thoughts were taking her over when her phone rang.

- Hi, it’s Vincent. Busy geek? Can we go out somewhere? 

- Hi. I have some questions. And the main is: Whaaat?

- Let’s meet next to the school in an hour. 

- Sounds interesting. Okay.

  Lily started preparing for the meeting with Vincent. She wore a pair of black jeans and pink sweatshirt. Just her favourite outfit. She loved cosy things no matter that skinny jeans suited her. She preferred comfortable clothes.

  On her way to school Lily was thinking of what could possibly come to Vincent`s mind.

  'Vincent! I am here.' Shouted Lily to Vincent.

  'Oh, you came earlier than me.' Said Vincent.

  'Sorry, I am too punctual. For me is better to come half-an-hour earlier, then to late for  2 minutes.' Explained Lily.

  'There is nothing to apologize for. I wish I was like you. I always late.' Complained Vincent.

  'When I missed the time we became friends?'

  'You can go home. I don`t make you stand here.'

  'I came here not to walk away.'

  'I`ve even messed up the dialogue with you.'

  'Yeah.'

  'You wanted to show me something...'

  'I hope, that you are not afraid of highs.' Said Vincent and took Lily`s hand.

  They both went to the school and then upstairs to the school`s roof.

  'I thought, that it’s closed.' Said Lily. 

  'It was closed. But I have some friends, that helped. Look there!' Said Vincent and showed beautiful scenery.

  'Wow! That`s really beautiful.' Said Lily.

  'Sit here.' Said Vincent that was sitting on the end of the roof.

  'Are you not afraid?'

  'I am too cool to be afraid of highs. In fact, I got used to the high.'

  'No, I mean else. Are you not afraid of fall?'

  'No, I am not afraid of death. In fact, I even want it. I mean my life doesn`t cost all the pain I`ve gone through. But when I look at yours one I feel better.'

  'Thanks, that is so inspiring. Do you want to make a suicide?' 

  'Of course not! Seriously? That was the first thing you thought about? I mean I am too tired of living. Of being this cool guy. I just want to be myself but people will definitely go, when I will say the truth... I had to tell it to someone. '

  'Why me?'

  'Because no one will ever believe you and you haven`t told about the hospital.' Added Vincent. 'I love poetry. Really like. I like learning every poem our teacher gave us. And I also love Biology, Physics and Maths. And many other lessons.'

 'Really? And I also understand why are you hiding it. People like your masks and not you. They just want to be with your mask.'

 'Yes. That exactly what I wanted to say.'

  Vincent was quite sensitive by saying that. But then Lily`s phone rang. She saw a message which made her eyes bigger, and she started breathing harder.

  'I am so sorry, but I should go.'

  'Why? It’s not very late and not very dark. I`ll help you to get home a bit later.'

  'Mrs Gilbert drunk again, and she forgot that he has 3 children She is trying to kick out Jace from the house.'

  'I am terribly sorry. Text me later.'

 Lily was running to the house, when she called Mr Gilbert and described situation just to save Jace.

  'Lily!' Shouted Jace and hid behind her.

  'Is that you? You are the girl from Tom`s work. An orphan. What are you doing here? Don’t say that you live here too.' Screamed Mrs Gilbert.

  'Actually, yes. Mr Gilbert will come in a few minutes. He will help you.'

  'Go away!' shouted Mrs Gilbert.

  Suddenly someone opened the door. Lily thought, that it’s Mr Gilbert, but it was Tony.

  'Hi, Tony, my dear daughter. These people say, that they are living here. Is that true?' Asked Alice.

  Tony looked at scared Jace and Lily.

  'No, mom. I don’t even know that people! You must go away bad liars!' Lied Tony.

  'Tony? Why are you saying this?' Asked Lily.

  'Go away!' Shouted Mrs Gilbert and Tony together.

  Finally, Mr Gilbert called.

  'Lily, I am so sorry. I won’t come today. Emergency brought a boy with almost everything broken. Try to solve problems alone.' said Mr Gilbert.

  Lily understood, that they must go to stay alive. She took Jace and went to Grace`s house.

  'Grace, hi. Can we stand for a night? We can sleep on the floor. Please!' begged Lily, when Grace opened them door.

  'Come in. We have one free bed. You can stay as long as you need.' Said Mrs Barker, Grace mom who heard their dialogue.

  'Thanks a lot.' Answered Lily.

  After an hour, Lily explained everything to Grace`s parents. They fed guests and gave them a bed.

  'Live becomes better and  better...' Thought Lily, but it’s too late. She went sleep. And she was just waiting for the next bad day to happen.
