Aaron, still with a heavy heart, glided through the city in search of the monster about to wreak havoc. Just as he was thinking about calling he received a call from the police chief. Wiping the blood away from his cheeks with the back of his hand he picks up.

"Wraith here." He answered in a monotonous and dry voice.

"Wraith, I received word of Crane's death, in a back alley in the suburbs. What happened?" Chief Monroe said in a troubled tone.

"Before you ask, no I didn't do it. It was that monster that's now roaming around the streets yet again." Aaron explained briefly.

"I figured so. It wasn't the outcome we had predicted and it pains me to say it, but Crane, in one way or another, is no more. So go do what you gotta do. I received word the creature's near Kew Gardens Hills Academy. We will back you up, so go all out. Over." She said regaining her composure

"Appreciate it, Chief." The teenager voiced and cut the call at once. Just as he was heaving a sigh yet another call came his way making his brow twitch in irritation.

"Uhm, hey, is it over?" Olivia's voice came through the speaker as soon as he picked up.

"No, I'm still in the middle of it actually..." Aaron replied dejectedly, while still on the go.

"And here I thought we could catch a movie." She said in a carefree tone before Aaron sighed to himself. "You don't sound so good... Is it gonna be dangerous... No, more dangerous than usual?" She asked, her voice indicating a hint of concern.

"...Yeah, probably the most dangerous one yet." He voiced after thinking it over.

"I see... You better come back to me in one piece, okay?" Olivia pleaded after a small sigh. She knew after all, that this would be a daily occurrence for the both of them, as long as they kept on dating.

"Of course. We can't catch a movie otherwise, right?" Aaron voiced, his tone softening.

"Right. Uhm, I love you..." She uttered, her blush was apparent even from over the phone.

"I love you too." He said back with a small smile and disconnected the call.

She never fails to make me feel better, does she?

Aaron thought, his lips still curled up in a smile ever so slightly. "Now... time to catch that doggie!" Aaron said speeding up his maneuvers, as he made for his school.

New York, Queens

Outside Kew Gardens Hills Academy

19:05

The frenzied beast's rampage came to a halt in front of the academy, due to the large amount of police cars and officers blocking its advances any further, giving a short of Deja-vu feel to the whole situation. "To think Brad would come to school on a Saturday... There's a first time for everything, I guess..." Aaron mutters to himself as he dashes closer to the scene from a nearby building. The police has already brought out the big guns but unlike last time, they don't seem to be causing the monster merely as much distress. In fact, it just seems irritated, like when a fly keeps buzzing next to your ear.

If these rifles from last time don't even bother him now, then what am I supposed to do?

Aaron thinks for a moment with the said scene playing before him. The wolf beast angrily picks a police officer up hurling him to the side. Then, he does the exact same thing with a car that seemingly blocked its path. The teenager clenched his fist and shut his eyes in an attempt to calm himself down before getting up from his crouched position. "...I shouldn't be thinking this way. I'm the only one who can do anything about that monster... And now's the time." With that self-pep-talk Aaron dashes out the rooftop and by deploying his hooks, lands on the head of the beast feet first. For a moment it's taken completely by surprise and staggers slightly forward, as the young hero uses its head as leverage to back-flip away from it. The monster quickly turns around, a menacing glare piercing through its enemy. "Come at me, boy!" Aaron roars, all fired up. The werewolf lunges at him as fast as possible, but the teenager evades one attack after another just barely. But that doesn't bother him. What matters is that he's keeping up.

My normal attacks now probably won't hurt it... I just need to find an opening so I can use my whistle and then go all out in the offensive...

Aaron thinks to himself as he redirects the flow of the battle further and further away from its starting position. Soon, he slips beneath the large legs of the beast and dashes away hoping that it will take the bait.

Last time I walked home from school with Olivia I saw that building which was still under construction...That might be exactly what I need! I think it was that way...

The monster of course follows him closely running at full speed with all 4 legs stomping away on the ground. "Damn he's fast!" The teenager grits his teeth as he notices the gap between them closing. They've gotten past the police force which was unable to provide any sort of help, and they're both running down the street now, every remaining civilian in the area dispersing in every possible direction so as to not get caught up in the mess. As they do, Aaron notices a young child that probably got separated from its parents standing frozen still in the middle of the road, intersecting with their own path. "Hey, get away!" Wraith calls out to the kid whose knees are shaking in fear. With an exasperated sigh the young man realizes the situation and teleports next to him, as he fires a hook somewhere in the distance picking up the kid in the process. The beast doesn't relent though as he picks up even more speed. "You're safe now, so go over to those police officers, okay?" Aaron voices gently while running away from the young child waving his arms about. "Over here you big fat ball of fur!" He taunts the werewolf which roars in rage.

"RAAAAARGHH!" With yet another vicious roar it closes the distance between in a flash and picks Aaron up like a doll.

"Woah for real?!" The young man shouts completely taken aback as the beast starts squeezing him between its palms. "Take this!" But the teenager exclaims proudly before blowing hard on the whistle he has in his palm. A hissing sound breaks out and the beast roars out in pain.

It works! It actually works!

Aaron celebrates internally before the beast starts moving around in exasperation. Before long, he's hurled at the school building next to them with incredible force.

"Woaaaahh!" Wraith voices as he flies through the air and smashes against a big glass pane shattering. But that's not nearly enough to break his trajectory as he flies past the room, crashing everything on his wake, desks and machinery alike before hitting the back wall. "Uff..." Aaron lets out a pained breath as he realizes he's actually inside the school, but can't pinpoint exactly where. He groggily gets up, his eyes meeting those of a man staring at him with utter shock in his expression.

Is that Mr. Myers? The chemistry teacher?

"Uhm... sorry about that, sir..." Aaron voices awkwardly as he dashes out the now-opened gap on the side of the building and makes for the beast who has already recovered from the effects of the whistle.

"Now let the chase continue!" The teenager announces like a sports pundit ejecting a bunch of pins towards the werewolf in order to get his attention. The monster seemingly irritated makes yet another mad dash towards his enemy while he taps his wrist to teleport away. "Huh?" He voices in confusion as he notices that his watch is busted yet again. "Oh come on!" He says dejectedly as he takes off running.

He must have busted it while he squeezed me back there! Damn it!

"Guess I'll have to go about it the old-fashioned way! Don't disappoint me now, leggies!" Aaron voices as he tries to speed away from the creature's grasp which is a lot faster than it lets on. "There it is!" He soon spots the semi-constructed building and makes a break for it, with the beast always on his tail. The sea of people still avoiding them like the plague make way for them as they run as Aaron slips inside the building.

It's a good thing he's solely focused on me otherwise this could get bad...

He thinks while looking around the building. Soon, he notices five thick concrete pillars holding the base up, and his lips curl up in a mischievous grin beneath his mask. "You canines love a good chase now, don't you?" Aaron says in a provocative manner as he runs towards a pillar and jumps behind it. The monster does not hesitate to swipe it away with his hand cutting it cleanly in half. The teenager ducks to the side and quickly gets up and resumes running. The beast knocks another one down as it follows behind the young man and soon after constant running around, there's but only one pillar left near the entrance. "Here, here boy!" Aaron beckons it over as he comes to a halt in front of it. The beast growls and growls away, its saliva dripping down from its jaws, seemingly reaching new levels of irritation.

Now for the final push...

Aaron thinks as the beast lunges at him with even more speed than usual. He ducks and throws his body back to evade the outstretched claws that came with much more force than usual. "Haha, you're majorly pissed off aren't you?!" The teenager voices while evading every attack by the skin of his teeth sustaining small cuts over the suit along the way as he takes a step back every time. Soon his back collides with the last pillar and is unable to run away any more. The beast closed in on Aaron without hesitation and as it swiped its arm at him, the teenager dodged underneath it last minute causing the pillar behind him to be completely swept away. Realizing his plan had succeeded Aaron brought forth his whistle and fired a hook outside the building. "Sayonara!" As the young man flew away, he gave a big hard blow on his whistle yet again. The monster roared in even greater pain than before, clutching its head. Soon the building started collapsing and in mere seconds the ceiling came crashing down on the unaware creature, showering it with concrete debris.

"Hah... hah... hah..." For a brief moment, the only thing Aaron could hear was his own heavy breathing. The building had collapsed on top of his enemy, and his victory was all but assured. He kneeled across the pavement momentarily, the fatigue from all the running and the pain of his injuries, weighing down on him in one go altogether. Soon, the bunch of remaining citizens started clapping one after the other causing a cheery commotion becoming of his heroic feats. Aaron looked around at the sea of people, in utter disbelief.

Why didn't they get away?

He thought to himself as he was showered with praise. Some even shouted his name rhythmically, while others snapped away pictures with their phones, and soon everyone present joined in on the celebrations. "I did it..." He whispered to himself before letting a small sigh escape. "I actually did it..." He repeated that over and over unable to process the situation, before basking in the afterglow of his success.
