The following morning Tessa came to school and my face lit up, "ughhhh I hate camping," she groaned as we entered the class room. She continued complaining about her weekend, how it was so boring without technology, her favorite food, the city lights, the mall and most importantly without me. "you were there for only 3 days and yet you're complaining," I said as I laughed. "you just don't get it, I was about to go crazy, you seem all happy did anything happen while I was gone?does this have to do with Michael, tell me tell me what happened" she said in so much excitement as she shook my body, everybody in class looked at us(awkward) we both apologized as we sat down and everybody minded there business after that, "girl I'm waiting, spill the beans" "Michael and I hang out" before I could finish the sentence she screamed in excitement, again everybody looked at us,"sorry" Tessa said as she chuckled, "maybe this isn't the right time to tell you" "no no no girl I can't wait for this story I won't scream anymore,"
"like I said before we hang out and we had a good conversation, we talked about random things and he told me about his childhood, we had coffee and you need to see the way he eats a cheese burger,after that he escorted me back home and I pecked him on the cheek,"" OMG!!!! "Tessa shouted as she jumped up and down, the class looked at her again and this time she blew them up," what can't a girl get excited anymore,jeez y'all have things to do so just stick your nose into that alright, " as soon as she said that I sunk my head in between my arms, there goes the Tessa I know what can I do I love her anyways. I didn't tell her about Ryan and I cause I thought it was inappropriate and she would make fun of me if I told her that I was friends with a 30 year old man who happens to be my neighbor. Senior year was coming to an end so I thought it was about time to make some changes in my life after all I was soon going to turn 18 so what's the big deal?
For the entire week Tessa couldn't stop talking about Michael and I and I started finding that irritating, I hadn't talked to Michael since  Saturday and I was surprised to receive a phone call from him,he asked if he could come over, mom was working so I thought it was ok for him to come so long as there wasn't going to be any funny business.

Like always our conversation started off awkward but got interesting later on, we played some video games and had some snacks and I thought that was pretty cool. Despite all that I felt like something was missing, I don't know what it was but something was definitely missing. Our day ended great and as I walked him out I saw Ryan directly looking at us, I felt kinda uncomfortable cause I've never brought a boy to my house when mom is not around so I was quite nervous about that.

On my way back I decided to make a stop at his house so I can clear up what he saw and hopefully won't tell mom. I took a deep breath and rang his door bell, he didn't take much time to answer it and the moment he opened the door I was frozen. "hi" he said calmly with a smiley face"hi, listen I'm just here to clear things up with you, it's not what it looks like, Michael and I are just friends and nothing happened between us when he came over,"I said in panic," Becca relax it's no big deal if a girl brings a guy over to her house unless he tries to do something inappropriate but I don't understand why you're telling me this, "for a while I hesitated," so that you don't get the wrong impression of me and tell mom about it, "i said as I quickly looked away and bit my lower lip in shame.

He gave a little laughter then Said," get the wrong impression of you? No I think you're an amazing girl and it's not my business to tell your mom what you do or don't do when she's not around, if you have something to tell her it's up to you" That night I couldn't stop thinking about  his words, he always has the right answers to everything but more importantly I couldn't stop wondering why I thought it was necessary to tell him about Michael and I,it wasn't just about stopping him from telling mom, there was something more to that.

It had been over 2 weeks since Ryan, Melissa and I went for a drive around the city and I was hoping we could do that again, to my surprise he called me and asked me if I could go with them to the amusement park, without any hesitation I agreed to it and threw myself in a pair of blue jeans and a white crop top and white sneakers, yes I'm not a pro when it comes to fashion but what can I do?I had so much fun with him and this time it was better than before, we had a ride on the roller-coaster, the Mary go round, we both watched Melissa on the  swings, the slides, we ate cotton candy and a bunch of other food. We sat on a bench as we watched Melissa play with her new friends she was happy and I was happy that she was happy and that Ryan shared this amazing experience with me.My heart started beating faster, my hands were all sweaty and it felt like my belly was on fire, what's is this feeling? I've never experienced this before.
It started getting dark but we got home on time and thankfully my mom was not yet back,I helped him carry things to his house and he walked me out after that, we both came to a stop and then he said, "thank you for today, I had an amazing time and we couldn't have done it without you," he sounded so sweet when he said that and gosh that feeling came back again, "thank you too for inviting me to have such a wonderful time with you," I didn't know what else to say cause my head was spinning from all the emotions I had at that  time. We both kept quiet for a while and then suddenly he nudged my chin up with his thumb,he then put his hand on my cheek and I felt his lips on mine it was like a whisper of a touch, so tentative, the sensation of light.I rested my hand on his chest as I responded to his kiss, gosh I have never felt anything like that before. **
