"Hey"
He said as he walked up to me. I cleared my throat and responded but couldn't look him in the face, I started walking towards my house while looking for a perfect excuse to escape him.
"Are you ok? I've been trying to reach you lately and I was worried that something might have happened to you"
"Like what?"I said with a little bit of anger in my voice which I think he noticed even though I tried to stay as calm as possible.
" I don't know, it's just that you've been distancing yourself from me and I just.. "
Before he could finish his sentence I interrupted him.
"So what you're saying is that I can't have my own space, look I just need to be alone for now okay? That's all I'm asking for"
I then quickly rushed into the house and as soon as I closed the door tears rolled down my eyes. I was so confused and the moment I saw him I panicked, I didn't know what to do and obviously been mean to him didn't help at all.

I cried myself to sleep and the next morning I woke up feeling the same as I was yesterday, luckily I didn't have eye bags under my eyes though my eyes were a bit red, I went downstairs and saw mom with that sophisticated lady from my party sitting on my favorite couch in my living room. I was so confused but I tried not to let it bother me so I went over to mom and gave her a morning peck.
"sweety what happened to you? your eyes are red" mom said with a worried look on her face.
I looked down for a while trying to lie to her
"I stayed up all night studying, with the exams just around the corner I feel so pressured"
"It's natural" the lady said as she stood up, "I used to do the same thing too when I was your age, but I bet you're smarter than me so there's nothing to worry about, don't let the scary thoughts pull you down if your mom did it, if I did it you can do it too"
"Oh honey this is Amber she's my co- worker you've probably not seen her around the hospital that's cause she just started working there not long ago, she's having some problems right now so she'll be staying with us for the mean time at least until everything is sorted out. "
What!! I was so angry at my mom for not talking to me about this before she brought her in, how can she let a stranger into our home, if anything I learned this rule from her and she just broke it. I don't like this lady and looking back at how she was around Ryan on my birthday she can be a danger to our relationship. I looked at her and she was smiling at me, obviously mom was saying something cause her lips were moving but I couldn't get her words with all the thoughts that were running in my mind.
"Becca, Becca"
"mm," I said like I was snapped out of my thoughts,
"I hope you are ok with it and besides Amber is a really person nice you'll love her"

Later that afternoon  mom and Amber were sitting outside eating fruits talking about who knows what then I saw Ryan walk over to them and sat down with them, I felt like my worst nightmare was coming true  loosing Ryan to a woman a beautiful woman for that matter, I panicked and went outside to be a part of their conversation you know just to make sure no new friendships were being made.
"oh good you're here!" mom said as she handed me a plate of fruit salads
"come sit with us, I was just introducing Ryan to Amber again"
"Mrs Watson you didn't have to, Amber and I can actually start a conversation without you starting it for us" Ryan said nervously.
"yes Laura I mean we know how to start a conversation"
"you agree with each other about almost anything, isn't that cute(chuckles) don't want to jump into anything but I think you two look good together you should really get to know each other more,what do you think Becca?"
"mm?"
"where's your head at today sweety you've been absent minded are you sure everything is okay?"
"yes sure of course, what was your question?"
"Don't you think Ryan and Amber should get to know each other more? They look good together right?"
What was I supposed to answer, how can I encourage my man and my rivalry to build a relationship and at the same time how can I disagree to that without sounding jealous. They're sitting next to each other and looking at her sitting next to him makes me sick to my stomach, everyone's laughing but me and Ryan couldn't look at me even for a second, i feel like I'm loosing him this time.
