What a jerk, he thinks he's too good looking that he can kiss any girl he feels like kissing, pff he's such a loser if he thinks I'm that type of girl he can easily beguile I'm just so glad I was able to push him away from me on time otherwise I don't know what stories he would have been telling people if he kissed me.Tessa had been calling all night I guess she was worried sick cause I left without saying bye to both her and Jake, I didn't want to let her in my house cause I didn't want her to start lecturing me about not been too uptight, putting my defense aside,going with the flow , living in the moment and so on and now I don't know how I'm going to face her today at school, I'm guessing she's switched from been worried to been angry with me.
We didn't talk all morning cause she'd been avoiding me and I was hoping I could talk to her during break, I lost track of her so I started looking for her in places she would likely be, I lost hope of finding her in school till I finally saw her coming out of the library never would I have thought she would be in the library I mean really she hates studying, she thinks been in the library is a waste of time, she wouldn't even read half a page of a book. I quickly walked to her hoping she would listen to me but she completely ignored me again I was crestfallen so I guess I just had to give it some time or do something daft in order for her to cool down like we always do whenever we have an argument or have a misunderstanding. Doing something silly wouldn't be the best thing to do now cause she wouldn't even look at me,giving her some time was the only option left and I hate it when  we go for a day  without talking.
The day was so boring without my crazy friend to talk to,I'm not the typical fun type of girl but with Tessa she always brings out the flame in me.Mom always knows when Tessa and I have a fight and like any other mom she talks to me and encourages me to make things right, it's always the same routine and I bet she's already used to it.

I was sitting on the couch watching TV and my mom was in the kitchen doing the dishes,my face lit up when I heard the door bell ring hoping Tessa had come to see me that evening,I rushed to open the door and surprisingly it wasn't her but a strange man whom I supposed was in his early thirties, he was good looking and I thought he wasn't from our neighborhood cause he didn't look familiar and he was holding a mini chocolate cake in his hands.
"Hello I'm Ryan your new neighbor," he said cheerfully "umm hi," I answered with a surprised look on my face. Mom rushed to the door and took over the conversation, I went back inside with my eyes focused on my phone determining whether or not to call Tessa. After a few minutes mom came in with the mini chocolate cake in her hands, "looks like we have ourselves some dessert," mom said as she headed to the kitchen to cut the cake.
The next morning I was hoping to finally talk to her and before I could find her she found me, "Hey" she said in a low voice with her eyes looking down at her shoes "hi," I said, we kept quiet for a while then both said the same things at the same time, "I'm sorry for," but before we could finish our sentences we laughed"I'll go first, "I said" I'm sorry for the way that I disappeared at the mall and for totally ignoring you for the rest of the evening, you must have been worried about me and it was stupid of me to ignore your calls and not let you come in, I'm sorry"
"I'm sorry too,I'm sorry that I have such a birdbrain friend who's afraid of guys and runs off whenever she's about to be kissed," she said as she laughed out loud. "Hey! I wasn't expecting that" I said as i chased her around the school hallway.Tessa always has something up her sleeves and she took me by surprise when she said that, I wasn't offended by what she said but rather I was glad that we started talking, she's a total package and always makes jokes in serious moments."So tell me what happened, I know he tried to kiss you but I want to know the full details," she said anxiously as she rested her chin on her hand."Welllllll,after you left he started coming closer to me whilst talking and I felt uncomfortable, he then tried to kiss me and I pushed him aside and ran off, that was it." For a while she looked at me in silence then burst out in laughter, "you're so hilarious, what was so uncomfortable about that? If I was in your place I wouldn't have held him back, girl you need to let go of your insecurities and this your no man policy,no one is the same, I mean do you know the advantages of dating someone in college and do you know how many girls would die to be in your place? Michael is such a hot guy and he's very kind, he's a total package. "

I guess Tessa was right, maybe it was about time that I started to put my insecurities aside,maybe dating someone older than me wasn't such a bad thing but dating Micheal was.I was totally lost in my thoughts I didn't realize  I was already in my yard, I looked around and saw the new neighbor leveling his lawn in his yard,he waved at me and I waved back amazed by his well built up body.
