Chapter 5 - Lies from the Truth
Charles looked down to the grass he was sitting on, then looked up to Red. His mouth struggled to get words out and his mind filled with thoughts,

"May I ask you? What exactly are you?",

Red gave a small smile, he closed his eyes and rested gently down on the floor. He lifted his right hand up to the sky, the sun struck at him through the gaps in his fingers and with a sweet tone, Red said,

"I'm a God",

Charles suddenly burst into laughter but Red kept his smile. Red then sat up and looked at Charles,

"You think I'm joking don't you?",

"I'm sorry, its just, the last person I met claiming to be a God was Tepez himself" Charles told him trying to keep his laughter from bursting again,

"Yeah I guess it sounds funny considering you found me bleeding out and requiring medical assistance" Red stated to Charles while placing his hand over the bandage "but you know, I'm not joking with you. Charles, I'm the Forbidden Child",

Charles lost his smile and a serious look overtook his face, he stood up and with anger he shouted at Red,

"Don't you dare! Claiming to be the God Hero from Dren and Ama! Everyone knows their son went missing and is currently in hiding from the other Gods",

Red also lost his smile and reached for his sword. Propping himself up with it, using it as a crutch, he stood up and bowed to the old man in front of him. He picked up his shirt and placed it over his head quickly putting it on,

"Whether you believe me or not is up to you sir, but if I may ask a final question, which way is Dragosis?" Red asked with a stern voice,

"The Dragon Kingdom? Why would you wanna go there? Have you not heard of the war?" Charles asked him with surprise,

Red said nothing, he stood still staring at Charles waiting for an answer to his question. Charles stared back before giving in. He pointed behind Red and told him,

"North West of here, about 60 kilometers. But if your trying to reach there I wouldn't recommend it. Savanna has already been hit by the dragon attack and rumours are flowing through out the land that the Dragon Harbinger as once again surfaced",

"North West, 60 kilometers. Thank you Mr Deacon",

Red lifted his sword and rested it on his right shoulder, he gave another bow before walking in the direction Charles pointed,

"Red wait-"

Suddenly Red came to a stop and interrupted Charles, he turned his head slightly just so his eyes were able to see Charles looking at him,

"The Dragon Harbinger, is she fighting in the war?",

"Yes but-",

"Red gave a small sinister smile before whispering to himself,

"She broke her vow",

Red kept walking without looking back, his steps were heavy but each with a purpose. Charles once again struggled to get words out of his mouth but this time he resisted the urge to speak. He looked at Red as he walked, pondering if what he told him was truth, inside of his head Charles told himself,

"Be careful Red, Dragosis isn't what it used to be, as you'll find out soon enough",

Red kept walking, slowly disappearing into the forest. Suddenly a small thundering sound was heard in the distance coming from the north, Charles looked up and closed his eyes,

"Its going to rain again huh?",
