Chapter 36 - The Archive Sisters
Two wide wooden doors opened by a servant revealing a huge hall. There were red flags with a symbol of an eye drawn on it. The walls were just like the bedrooms. Carved with images of battles. There were statues all over the place of beasts and soldiers, along with amazing lighting caused by well placed candles. But the biggest attraction of all was the massive table in the middle. It was about 15 metres in length and about a metre in height. The colour seemed light but the structure thick, like a type of wood never seen before. The table had chairs made from the same material all around it, with the same flag resting on the backrests. But an even bigger attraction was the giant throne at one of the ends of the table. Is seemed to be made out of a dark wood but it was exquisitely carved with images of snakes all over. And on it, sat Red. Like the perfect image of a king about to feast, was right before everyone's eyes. Trivia sat to his left on a smaller throne while to his right was an even smaller throne, but it was empty. Gália, Karla and Maria were sat next to Trivia in that order. Amélia walked next to Maria and bowed before taking a seat next to her. As soon as she sat down, Red gave a loud clap and servants started storming in. Plates of food in hand of the males, while the women had bottles of alcoholic drinks. The plates were placed in front of the guests first along with drinks,

"Willaz, would you like to tell our guests what we will be enjoying today?" Red said to a man standing behind him,

The man was built in structure and quite tall but he had the face of an elder,

"Of course sire. For the meal on this evening we have a plate of freshly hunted boar fired over a Halt sauce, accompanied by today's picked lettuce and boiled potatoes. To accompany the food, the adults will be enjoying a bottle of Bonemare Ale made by the finest brewery in the kingdom while the children will have an apple juice, made from the freshest apples in Your Majesty's Garden",

Everyone's face lit up as they stared at the food. The contrast in colours and smells hit their senses like a love potion. It was a divine meal,

"And as for me and Trivia?",

The man stepped forward,

"The King and Queen will enjoy a Jharleon Fish along with some salad with a mix of exquisite vegetables. To accompany Your Highness I recommend the Chessfieldian Wine" the man said with his head down,

"Yes that'll be fine thank you",

As Red and Trivia had their food delivered, everyone else was staring at him and Trivia, as if to ask for the signal to start munching down,

"Oh please, eat away. Were not that harsh" Trivia said with a huge smile,

Suddenly everyone's face lit up and without second though had their mouths full. The sound of laughter, chatter and utensils hitting the plates swarmed the air. The atmosphere was that of a gathering of a big family. Suddenly Red turned to the man and whispered to his ear. The man simply nodded and walked over to a door. He opened it slightly and said something to the servants. Suddenly they were all coming out and sitting down at the table. Food and drinks in hand, they joined the King. Amélia turned to Red with a confused look, but before she could say anything, with a slight smile he said,

"In Savanna, we are all family",

She simply smiled back.

As darkness began to fall upon the land, everyone had finished their meal. The servants had already cleared up and the only things on the table were a cup to each person with a dark like substance. The only ones at the table was Red, Trivia, Gália, Amélia and the girls. The girls however seemed to be leaning on each other, asleep on each others shoulders. Amélia was just staring at them with joy in her eyes,

"Now I know we wished to discuss business in our room Trivia but since everyone here seems to be in good spirits, I don't want to simply leave. So I think we could discuss business at the table",

"Agreed" she replied standing up,

She went to another room and called over the servant that had met with Trivia when they arrived and with Red before the meal. He walked over to Red and Stood at his side, head bowed,

"So, you have news of Oços?",

"Yes Your Highness. Your initial thought was correct" he said with a dark tone,

"And not a single man or women was in sight?" Red asked with surprise in his voice,

"Not just that my lord, not a single trace was left. No blood, no bodies, no trace at all that people were in the country. The entirety of the country was missing",

Red looked down at the table with an angered look. Amélia looked at him and a small amount of fear emerged from her spine. Gália turned to Red as well,

"Do you think it's the Emperor's doing as well? " he asked,

"No, not even him has the power to make an entire country disappear over night" Red replied,

"Perhaps the Selvans had a hand in this?" Trivia suggested placing her hands on Red's shoulders,

"I'm sorry Your Highness but I highly doubt that would be the case" Julliuz replied,

Red looked to him as if to ask why and he got the hint,

"We went to Rianova to ask them if they knew anything about this but they seemed terrified. They apparently didn't see what happened but something must have alerted to them of the situation",

"So even the Elves are terrified..." Red mumbled,

Suddenly Red's eyes widened, light a light just went off in his head,

"What about void marks?",

"Sire?",

"Was there traces of space missing , or, something similar to missing parts missing in objects" Red shouted,

"We did fing a house with an unusual crack in the wall, as if it was ripped from the inside by a void",

"It couldn't be..." Trivia whispered,

"The Archive Sisters" Red grunted,

"Who are the Archive Sisters?" Gália asked,

"They were powerful witches born without an element" Trivia answered him,

"That's not possible! They wouldn't be witches otherwise" Amélia said aloud,

"No, they were a special case. When the twins were born, they were the total opposite of each other. Black hair in one, white in another. One had red eyes and the other's blue. One cried during birth while the other one laughed. They were born of a family without magic affinity at all, which made them rare. So the parents, worried for their children, decided to get them a Grimoire each so they could control matter itself. The Archival Grimoires, two powerful Grimoires able to teach its user everything about everything. The matter construct of their surroundings, and in turn, able to control it. They didn't need an element to use written magic... But... " Red said with a confused mind,

"They were supposed to be dead" Trivia added,

"Supposed?" Amélia added,

"I killed them" Trivia responded "they decided to kill Red so I kill them before they could try",

Amélia simply shut down, not saying a word,

"Is there any chance you let them get away?" Gália asked worryingly,

"ARE YOU QUESTIONING MY ANSWER ANVIL?" Trivia shouted with anger,

"Trivia, calm yourself. This isn't the time to argue" Red cut in,

"I'm sorry" Trivia mumbled backing away,

"If they are alive, we need to find them. By the looks of it, they have finally unlocked the full potential of the Grimoires",

"Sire there's one more thing..." Julliuz said,

He approached Red and handed him a letter. It was a pure white parchment with a wax seal,

"The Deacon's Seal?",

Red opened the letter and slowly read it to himself. After a long pause of silence the only word to emerge from his mouth was,

"Impossible",
