Chapter 11
In an area full of tenebrosity and flames burning ferociously, rows and rows of soldiers in rusty armours marched. All of the soldiers were holding spears in their hands and swords that were curved from the top were dangling adjacent to their waists as they marched.
They seemed to have been headed in the direction of a huge colossal rock. On that rock, stood Thaddeus with an evil smirk displayed upon his face as he watched the soldiers halt in front of him.

Once the soldiers had subsided, Thaddeus spoke in a voice loud enough for everyone to aurally perceive:
“The day….when I shall give Oberon a taste of my pain! The pain that he gave me! The day, when we shall kill him and those filthy, heartless Princes, is the day when we shall have our vengeance, and it will be the day when our ambitions will be fulfilled! And I can assure you, this day of hopes is very proximate. We will get what we deserve and take back what is rightfully ours!”

A loud cheer came in unision from all the soldiers, as all of them were desperate to assassinate the royal family. The family that took their happiness, their success and their power.

“Are you ready….Alastor?” Thaddeus asked from a man coming out from the shadows.
“I am forever at your service, Sir Thaddeus.” He bowed and placed a hand on his chest in respect. He wore a black eye patch on his left eye and a black uniform. He also wore black leather gloves. He was the general of the huge army, under the command of Thaddeus himself.

“I trust you, Alastor.” Thaddeus said right after he shifted his head towards the army.
“Likewise, Sir Thaddeus.” Alastor stood up and looked at the army as well.
“You taught me so much, and gave me hope. That even though I am a poor orphan, I can still make something of myself in this world.” Alastor continued with a smile. He widened his arms and said:
“And look at where I am standing today! Leading my own army as the general, going by the name of ‘The devil of the lands.’ I cannot thank you enough for this.” Alastor said as he shut his eyes and looked down.

“I am proud of how far you’ve come. I was afraid that you would turn out like your brother.” Thaddeus said as he scoffed lightly and shook his head sideways.
“Oh please! That fool was going to ruin our plan when we were about to kill your sister.” Alastor laughed hard.
“Well, finally you took care of that issue.” Thaddeus placed his hand on Alastor’s shoulder.
“My sword still bears the blood of my brother. That day, the day when I had killed my own brother was the day I devoted my life to serving you. You are like the father I never had before.” Alastor chuckled.

“I am well aware. And know that I am very proud of how much you have accomplished. Aren’t you going to visit your ‘real’ father, though?” Thaddeus said as he looked over at Alastor. He emphasized the word ‘real’ and started to chuckle.

“Yes. I was going to visit him before coming here. I wanted to check how the preperations were going for the big war but it seems like my help isn’t needed now.” Alastor said with a smile.

Thaddeus patted his shoulder and Alastor turned to go inside the dungeons, where his father resided.
