During the feast, Maximillian looked towards Arthur and jerked his head towards the door. Arthur understood the sign and he took a quick glance at Louis.
Arthur nodded his head at Maximillian and both of them stood up at the same time. Arthur fixed his cape as both of them headed towards the door.

“Where are you both going?” Louis whined.
“U-uh, we have some business to attend to. But feel free to look around the palace.” With those words, Maximillian darted towards the door, followed by Arthur.

Both of them reached the garden located inside the palace. It was indeed beautiful. Arthur had never seen such beauty. There were cherry blossoms that seemed to be endless. Few of the petals fell to the ground.
The fresh green field was now full of pink petals everywhere.
Arthur’s mind was blanked and his mouth was agape. This was the first time he had seen this garden, and he absolutely loved it.

“Love it?” Maximillian smirked and Arthur snapped back into reality. Arthur chuckled and shook his head slowly in disbelief.
“I’ve seen better.” Arthur lied blatantly.
“Hm….sure you have.” Maximillian held the same smirk and rolled his eyes.

It was silent before Maximillian spoke again.
“As you know, I called you here for a major reason.” Maximillian said seriously, as he developed his interest to the ground.
“Mother’s jewels.” Arthur said firmly.
Maximillian nodded.

“Arthur, I know that we discussed this a lot, and I have come to a conclusion.” Maximillian looked nervous as he raised his head to look at Arthur’s confused face.

“Let’s go to father.” Maximillian suggested.
Arthur scoffed and rolled his eyes.
“Please! As if father is any use to us!” Arthur objected and looked away with a distasteful look.
“Arthur…this is our only chance. What’s the worse that could happen?” Maximillian tried to convince Arthur.
“Brother, the last time I saw father was when he said to me, ‘never show your face to me again.’ Why in the kingdom of Zorro would I go to him again?” Arthur said.

“Yeah but-”
“Last time, we went to father for the sake of some information. But that man didn’t give us anything!” Arthur concluded.

“I know. And what he did was wrong. But this is our last chance to fight back. And we wont come back until we get what we want. This time I’ll go with you.” Maximillian consoled his younger brother.

Arthur looked up from the ground and into the pleading eyes of his brother. He sighed and gently nodded as Maximillian grinned.

“We’ll head there tomorrow morning. Agreed?”

Arthur nodded again, but this time, he was determined to get the information he wanted.
