Chapter 13
"It's getting quite annoying really. How my days just repeat themselves in the same way. Now it seems that I can already tell what's about to come. Drowning myself in my own tears, crying while sleeping. Now I'm getting used to it. Doing the same things repeatedly. Overthinking, crying and sleeping. What did I do to deserve this? The fact that I was in the right path? Is that what I did wrong? I've been here for 40 years now. Look at me! I'm an old man now! Was it written in my fate to die in here? By the hands of my own son-"
"I am not your son! I never was your son! I am not going to bow down to you like my idiot brother did!" Alastor yelled as he held up his forefinger at his father.
"Ah yes.... Christopher. How is he?" Alfred asked in a light tone.
Alastor scoffed and smirked.
"You don't know, do you?" Alastor asked in a dark tone.
Alfred didn't respond. Instead, gave him a confused look.
Alastor walked towards him and leaned towards his ear. Alfred didn't flinch at all, instead, he kept a straight face.
"I killed him...." Alastor whispered in his ear and laughed hard. Alastor backed up slowly and had a huge grin on his face.
"I killed him, father! I killed him! I ended his life with my own hands!"
Alfred started to shed tears and looked at his son who was laughing.
"Your a monster.....How could you do this to your own brother!?" Alfred yelled at the top of his lungs.
"No....not you Christopher.... Not you ...." Alfred whispered to himself and started to cry harder as he rocked himself back and forth while sitting down.
"It's no surprise really. I'll kill you the same way. You can meet him in hell." Alastor walked towards the door casually as if nothing really happened.
"You'll pay for this, Alastor! I swear you wil-" Alfred yelled.
"Oh save your breath while it lasts, old man." Alastor turned back quickly and gave an irritated look at him as he raised a hand for him to stop.
"Why don't you just kill me already?" Alfred asked in a defeated and helpless tone.
"Nah. I don't want you to die that easily. I want you to die in....surprise."
Alastor started to chuckle lightly as he exited the cell.
The sounds of his chuckle echoed until he exited the dungeons.
