Krypts Tribe

“Oh my dear sister. If only you would have listened to me in the first place, you wouldn’t have been living underground.” Thaddeus, leader of the Krypts tribe, laughed while the thought of his deceased sister passed through his mind.

“And as for you King Oberon, you will pay for what you have done to me.” Thaddeus said in a husky and deep voice as he emphasized the word, ‘King’. He stroked the scar on his left eye that was placed brutally.

“Now, I will make sure that I will conquer the kingdoms of your sons. What were their names again?” Thaddeus propped up a finger on his chin, as if he was in deep thought.

“Ah yes! Who can forget the valiant Princes? Arthur, Maximillian and that over ecstatic Prince of Zaria! Louis was his name, wasn’t it?” Thaddeus showed a face of disgust at the mention of the youngest Prince.
But the thought of conquering all of the kingdoms made the man smirk a bit, and then laugh. Most people would say that this man was crazy, but he was just as smart as the three Princes combined.

“Sir Thaddeus?” A man entered and gently bowed towards the leader of the tribe in respect.
“What is it?” Thaddeus looked at the guard in front of him. The contempt was almost palpable.

“A spy from the Kingdom of Kaneria is here to deliver a message, sir.” The guard said, still holding the same straight expression on his face.

“Bring him in!” Thaddeus ordered, and flicked his hand as a sign of dismissal for the guard in front of him.
“Yes sir.” The man gently bowed and left the large tent.
Soon enough, another man entered. He was tall, about six feet and wore a black mask. He had lowered his hood, revealing long, straight and oily hair. He wore a black robe that covered most of his body and he wore black boots that were worn out and dusty.
“Sir Thaddeus. We have a report to give you regarding the events occuring in the Kingdom of Kaneria.”
The man stated in a cool voice.

“What’s the news?” Thaddeus asked, as he stroked the thick black obsidian ring he was wearing.
“The Prince of Kaneria, Prince Maximillian Oberon, has held a feast for his two brothers to join. Both brothers have accepted his invitation and are present at his location right now.”

“Ah! I see…a brothers reunion, eh? And all of them are at Kaneria now, you say?” Thaddeus looked up at the spy with a mischievous grin.
“Yes sir.” The spy calmly responded. At this answer, Thaddeus held an evil smirk. He then said, after what seemed like an eternity:
“I say ….it’s a perfect time for an ambush.”
