Tessa pulls on my shirt, our lips connecting hungrily. We try consuming each other as if our need for each other is like the oxygen we need to breathe, and we can't get enough.

I pull her close to me, hands digging into her hips, her hands moving from my shirt to my hair.

I don't know how long we kiss for, but it wasn't long enough.

Tessa breaks away, her eyes sparkling like mini suns. Maybe Romeo was right comparing Juliet to the sun... I've never seen anything brighter and more brilliant. So beautiful, I would burn to stand next to her for even a second.

She giggles as I move some crazy curls behind her ear. She kisses my cheek, "I love you too.".

I mutter, "You heard me?".

She smirks, fixing my shirt, "Yah, your muttering voice isn't as quiet as you think it is.".

I stare into her eyes, then smile. I tease, "Sneaky, anything else up your sleeve.".

She raises an eyebrow, "Yeah, but what makes you think I'll tell you.".

I wrap an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close. I lean in so that I am almost touching her lips. She closes her eyes, waiting. I let our noses touch, a smile on my face. I lean back, kissing the tip of her nose, "Nothing.".

Her eyes open, blue and sparkling, she pouts, "Why didn't you kiss me?".

I cup her cheek, "I did. I give you another kiss if you come with me to my house. I'd love for you to meet my dad.".

She bites her lip, eyebrows are drawn in. She takes out her phone, clicks a couple of things and then starts typing. She taps something and she turns off her phone. She picks up her backpack, puts it over one shoulder, and twists the strap. She rolls on the balls of her feet, smiling at me.

A small ding comes from her phone, a light blinked on along with the screen. She turned the phone off before I could really look at the background behind the lock. She nods, "My mom says I can go, just as long as I bring you along tomorrow to dinner at my house.".

I nod, pulling my backpack up from the ground. I grin, "Let's go, my lady.".

She smacked my arm, " Thomas, quit it!".

I smirk, "As you wish my lady.".

She groans, " Ugh, why do you have to be so difficult!".

I hold out my arm, "Because I'm worth it!"

Her cheeks burn red, "Sure, I'll let you believe that.".

She grabs onto my outstretched arm as we were walking out of the library.

I put my other hand over my heart, " Oh my heart, such mean words from my lady break my heart. I can see the light, it's so bright.".

Before I can fake my death, Tessa rolls her blue orbs, " Come on Thomas, stop being so dramatic.".

I shout, "Never!".

She shakes her head, "So, how far to your house?".

I smile, "Not long.".

We chat, asking each other questions. We make each other laugh so hard we cry. We walk arm in arm, her warmth seeping into my skin. I think my feet could lift off the ground and I could fly. My heart pounds in my chest, fluttering like a butterfly under my ribcage. I have never felt this untouchable in a long long time.

We finally stop in front of my house and Tessa's jaw drops. She mutters, " So this is why you are so full of yourself!".

I clutch my chest, "Hey, rich people have hearts too. Not everyone is like Richie.".

She smirks, "Hey, at least he knows we're through and gave up. Now, on the other hand, I can't seem to shake you, even when we broke up.".

I roll my eyes, "My dad will definitely love you. Come on in.".

I lead my heart up to the porch and opened the door with my key.

Here it goes...
