Vicky

The next morning I received a phone call with bad news, that just added to our list of problems. Not only did we now have to deal with the evil ones, we also had some rouge werewolves on our hands, that were after Diego. At least Emilee was going home tonight, so hopefully she would be safe at least for now. That meant we could focus more on stopping the werewolves for the time being, that's if the evil ones didn't plan an attack on any of the locals. Me and Emilee was now heading towards Bella and Nick's house. We ran there, in hopes that we got there as quickly as possible, without bumping into the evil ones. Plus Emilee was still a little scared and shook up from her frightful encounter yesterday.

We finally reached their house and walked up towards the door and then knocked. It was Bella who answered. "Hi, how are you? I don't think we've met before. I'm Emilee," she said politely, but Bella just glared at her like she was studying her, not even smiling at her friendly tone. Bella was trying to figure her out the same way she did with me the first time we met.

"I know who you are. I'm Bella, now come inside," Bella ordered and then stepped aside to let us in. We entered. She shut the door and then headed up the stairs, so we followed her. The three of us kept walking until she came to a stop outside Nick's bedroom door. This was the second time I had been inside but I still felt weird about it. Bella pushed the door open and entered. We both did the same and saw Nick and Diego sat on the bed talking but when we entered they stopped and turned to face us. I almost gasped and jumped, when I saw Diego. He looked very beaten up and I had a feeling he was a lot worse than he actually looked.

"What are we going to do?" I asked as the door shut behind Emilee.

"Whatever we do we mustn't let Diego walk outside alone tonight, since they threated to come back," Nick replied.

"No," Diego stated firmly. "No I don't want you guys to get hurt. It's me they're after," he told us.

"You are our friend that means we are in it together," Nick told him.

"Well thanks," Diego said and that's when Nick began to space out and stared at nothing, like the way we both did when we had visions. We all looked at him waiting for it to finish and whatever it was didn't show to me. Several minutes passed and he came around, and his green eyes flashed with worry.

"What did you see?" Bella asked, quickly and with worry. Nick looked at her, making eye contact. Now, his eyes seemed to show panic and confusion which hadn't found their way onto his face yet. He must still be registering what happened on his vision.

"I saw a man," he replied matter of factly.

"That's it just a man?" Bella asked raising her eyebrows.

"No, that's not all. He was really angry at Diego over something and he hit him so much he was knocked unconscious. Well that's what I hope," he replied the panic now making its way to his voice and face.

"This man, what did he look like?" Diego wondered. Nick turned away from his sister to face his best friend.

"Erm... Yeah, he had shoulder length, sandy blonde hair and grey-blue eyes and he wasn't very tall but he was very big built. He was quite muscular. Along with the angry look on his face he also seemed to look very hurt, like he was betrayed. He also looked about 37," he described, his eyebrows low and his hand near his head as if he was trying super hard to recall everything he noticed about this man in his vision.

When he had finished describing him Diego turned away quickly and glanced at the floor shaking his head.

"What's wrong? Do you know who he is?" Nick wondered, placing his hand on his shoulder in concern. Diego looked back up at him, his eyes were wide and Nick let go of him.

"Yes, he sounds like my dad," Diego replied, slowly and quietly.

"Why would your dad do that too you?" Emilee asked.

"Because he's an evil d**k that's why and because I betrayed him and his pack," he answered turning to face her but once he finished speaking he turned away again. He placed his head in his hands and rested it on his lap, so that his hands were trapped in between his head and knees, then said, "I knew it. I knew he would come for me sooner or later. I can never escape him," his voice muffled by the palms of his hands.

"He won't take you. We'll make sure of it. Now you have friends who have your back," Nick said calmly and softly. This made Diego sit up fast to look at him.

"But do you think that will stop him?" He asked. "No, he'll just try killing you all. He's always hated me having friends. Said that they are a waste of time. That I didn't need friends I needed a family, a pack because friends just let you down were as a pack could never let you down. They have to stick by you no matter what even if they disagree with you or else they have to face the consequences. Now, that's what I must do," Diego explained answering his own question.

"We'd never betray you and just let him try and kill us," Nick said, trying to make his friend feel better and then turned to us three. "We're not going anywhere, right?" He asked us.

"Of course not," I replied. There was no way that I was going to leave Diego to defend for himself. Besides I weren't afraid of some Lycan no matter how big they may be. I had my powers, that I was learning to control effectively now, to protect myself and plus Diego was my friend. I always stood by my friend's side no matter what. Even if I didn't have many before, but I always stuck by Emilee so I would do the same for my new fiends.

"If he even so much as lays a finger on you, I'll find away to rip his head off," Bella stated doing an exaggerated movement, that looked as if she was pulling someone's head off. Which was her strange way of saying that she had his back.

"Well I don't know if we can call each other friends as we barely know each other, but you seem nice. I wouldn't want to see you get hurt, so I'm in," Emilee said.

"Thanks amigos," Diego said, now smiling, but his eyes still showed that he was still worried. "Who needs a pack of werewolves and Lycans when you can have a pack of more than one type of human, two of which are destined ones?" He stated, looking at each of us one at a time, realising that maybe he didn't belong to his father's pack, but he in fact had his own pack, his own family that would protect him always. That friends could also be like family despite what his father always told him.

"Who said I wanted to be part of your pack?" Bella asked, folding her arms across her chest.

"No one, but..." Diego started but she cut him off.

"Relax, I'm just joking. Of course I'd love to be part of your pack as long as there's none of those silly strict rules. Like that I must follow your every order," she said dropping her arms to her sides.

"Of course not. There's no Alphas, no one's in charge. We are all important as each other," Diego told her.

"Good because I take orders from no one," she said.

"No, you just give them," Nick joked, a grin forming on his face. She glared at him.

"Shut it," she said firmly, stamping her foot, proving he was right. Nick just laughed.

"How cool? I've always wanted to be a part of a pack," Emilee stated with a huge smile on her face.

"You're a human," Bella pointed out.

"A girl can dream about stuff can't she?" Emilee asked her.

"She's a part of my pack too, human or not," Diego told her firmly.

"That's not what I meant. I didn't mean that she couldn't be in the pack because she was human. I meant that she always wanted to be in a pack when it is traditionally Werewolves and Lycans or ordinary wolves that have packs," Bella said.

"And like I said a girl can have her dreams," Emilee repeated. She was right in your dreams you could be anything you wanted.

"Em, I think we better be going. Your mum will be around to pick you up soon," I told her. She turned to face me the smile dropping from her face and she sighed before replying.

"Alright let's go," she said, sounding disheartened. I could tell she was beginning to love the idea of having supernaturals as friends, even though when she first found out yesterday that Nick was a vampire she was a little wary of the idea. Now, that that she had gotten to know him, his sister and friend more she was becoming more relaxed at the fact that Supernaturals existed.

The both of us said goodbye and Nick hugged me and kissed me, making me feel warm and tingly inside, making me wish I could stay in his arms longer but we really needed to go. Besides I would be seeing him again very soon, I told myself. Once we stopped hugging Emilee and I turned to leave and I said, "I'll be back later." Then we left his room and headed for the front door. Once outside in the evening air we started walking fast, in the direction of the cottage, making sure to glance around every so often to make sure that we weren't being followed by anyone.
