Broken Memories
"So are we going to get out of the school or what?" Grace asked. "We are. But we'll have to find another way out since the main entrance is blocked and all." The black haired teenager said as he brought his hand to his face thinking. "Then why don't we search for another way out as you said?" She proposed. "Hm... That might work." He said as he took the lead and started walking. "Even in these circumstances... I'm glad I got to be alone with him..." She thought. "What are you waiting for?" Aiden asked as he turned his back and looked at her. "Oh yeah sorry!" The blonde haired teenager said as she picked up the pace. "So how are we going to call those things? I mean we can't keep saying these things or that!" Grace pointed out. "Yeah you've got a point. What about walkers...?" Aiden replied. "Too much of The Walking Dead series huh? Anyway that works!" The blonde haired girl said laughing. "Well you know me!" Aiden said returning the laugh. "Here! Look at that hole!" Grace said as she pointed at an opening on the wall that led to the outside. "Oh my God I can't believe our luck honestly...!" The tall teenager implied. Ladies first!" He continued as he pointed to the opening on the wall. "Oh my what a gentleman!" Grace said sarcastically as she got through the hole and outside of the school. "We're finally out!" Aiden said in a tone of excitement after getting out himself. "AAAAAAAAHHH!" Grace started screaming as a walker grabbed her leg. "You fucker!" The black haired teenager shouted as he unsheathed his sword and stabbed it's head. "Fuck that was a close one...! Are you alright?!" Aiden asked. "Yeah I'm fine it just touched me it didn't scratch me or anything..." She said in relief. "Okay then... Your screams might have got their attention so let's move out..." He said as he gently grabbed her hand. "Were to?" She asked. "Back home. We need to see if our parents are okay. And if they're not home we should gather whatever you can. The fact that we live close to each other will really help. After that we can go to the meeting point we set with the others." Aiden implied and the two teenagers made for their houses.
The two teenagers were walking for quite a while when they finally reached their neighborhood. "It's all messed up..." Grace said in a low voice as she witnessed what had become of her and Aiden's childhood playground. The park they used to play at was full of blood and corpses. Cars were destroyed and crashed to each other down the streets. The pavements were run over by some cars and blood was all over them. "This can't be good... Stay close." Aiden said as he slowly started walking down the road and into his house. "Look... I think that's mister Madison the mail man..." The blonde haired teenager said as she pointed to a walker that was immobilized by a fallen electricity column. "Leave him be... We need to mind our business no matter how much it hurts..." The blue eyed boy replied. "You're right..." She said as she followed him.
