"OPEN THE GATE! WE'VE GOT WOUNDED!" David shouted at Linda who was standing right in front of the reinforced gate of the school. "What are these idiots thinking?!" She said noticing the two new faces amongside her companions. Owen pulled open the gate and the three men ran inside. "What are you doing?! Who are these people?!" The black haired woman shouted. "Aiden are you alright?!" Grace and Emily said synching. "David what's the matter?" Olivia asked as well. "Calm down everybody everything is fine!" Aiden raised the tone of his voice above everybody else. "Fine my ass! You just brought two new people here without talking to us first you bastards!" Owen said looking pissed off. "Call down big guy we couldn't just leave them behind! They were trapped and we had to help!" David explained stepping in between Aiden and him. The young man walked towards David's truck and made the man lie down so Olivia could treat him. "Hey don't walk away when I'm talking to you!" The big man shouted opposing to his actions. "Why don't you go fuck yourself? This man needs treatment!" The black haired teenager said. "Olivia can you please treat him?" He continued.."Of course I can. Ashley I'll need some help here!" The woman called out. "I'm coming!" Ashley responded. "I'm truly grateful for helping us..." The brown haired teenager spelled out. "You shouldn't even be here kid!" Linda shouted. "Lay off him Linda! He's had a hard time and he is welcome to stay if he wants!" David shouted back. "I seriously can't believe you David... You've been against me this whole time! Do whatever the fuck you want..." Linda said as she backed off and left removing her black leather jacket due the heat of the argument.  "You're welcome to stay kid. Don't listen to her." David said comforting the teenager. "Thank you..." He replied. "So what's your name?" Aiden asked him. "I'm Eric. Eric Brandon. I'm 15 years old." The brown short haired young man said looking up to him with his brown eyes. He was wearing a blue baseball jacket with white sleeves and a pair of blue jeans. His black and slightly torn boots were muddy along with his jacket who had splashes of mud all over. "And what's that man's name? If you don't mind me asking." David continued. "His name is Victor Roberts. But we just call him mister Roberts because he used to be our teacher." Eric explained. "You don't happen to have studied at this school right?" Aiden continued with the questioning. "No... We are from pretty far away..." The teenager explained. "Sorry for all this questioning, my name is Aiden Campbell, here is my friend David Marshall. The blonde haired woman back there is Olivia, his wife and the little boy is his son Danny. The little girl with the hat is Emily and the girl beside her is my girlfriend, Grace Murray." Aiden introduced everyone. "It's nice to meet you all..." He said looking gloomy. "Well I'll be checking up on Grace if you need anything let me know." Aiden said with a friendly smile.

"Hey Grace what's up?" The young man said walking up to her. The teenage girl had spaced out as she looked at Olivia and Ashley who were treating the wounded man. "Oh sorry I was lost in thought!" She said as she was brought back to reality. "How did you find these guys?" She continued. "We were just looking around and then we heard a scream. We rushed to the source of the noise and saw Eric holding that guy, mister Roberts along with an other teenager. I think his name was Ben. We helped them get off their tough situation but that guy Ben didn't make it. He was eaten..." The black haired teenager explained briefly. "That must be difficult... But anyway, I'm glad you're unscratched." Grace pointed out with a warm smile. Her white teeth where shining at the face of the sun and her long fringe was covering a small part of her left eye. She was wearing a black puffer vest over a purple long sleeved shirt and a pair of blue jeans underneath along with some brown Timberland boots. She also hadn't removed the hat that Aiden had given to her. "Of course! Who do you think you're talking to!" Aiden smiled arrogantly showing off his left bicep to add form to the sarcastic comment. "Duche!!" She said pushing him as a tease. "Grace! Aiden! Look what I've just drew!" Emily said to her guardians as she was sitting on a pillow having her hands on top of a small desk with a painting and some crayons besides it. She was wearing a light blue puffer jacket and a black pair of pants along with some white trainers. She had the usual hat on and her hair on a ponytail. "Ohh let me take a look at this masterpiece!" Aiden said kneeling besides the little girl. Grace followed and picked up the painting. "Is it thtee dogs?!" She thought and looked at Aiden as she handed it over to him. "That's... Amazing!" The young man said not being able to find the right words. Although the painting wasn't nearly as good as Aiden's comment made it. "Do you know what I've painted?!" Emily said with a cute smile. "Of course...!" Grace said nervously. "Grace first!" Aiden said out loud. "Huuuh? Why me?!" She replied looking even more nervous than before. "Come on Grace!" Emily implied impatiently. "Uhm.... Is it... US?!" Grace said crossing her fingers. "YES! YOU'RE REALLY GOOD AT RECOGNISING GRACE!" The little girl said overjoyed. "What should I draw next...?" The little girl gave voice to her inner thought. "You do your thing Emily and when you're finished, Aiden here WILL guess next!" Grace implied with an evil smile. "Evil woman..." Aiden whispered. "Aiden, Grace can we speak for a moment?" Olivia called out to them. He had her hair in a ponytail and was wearing a green jacket with a pair of black jeans and boots. "Of course." Aiden replied looking at Grace who was nodding her head affirmatively.

The two teenagers walked over to the blonde haired woman who was standing right in front the man who they brought in. He was lying on the back of David's trucker with a towel over his torso. "What's wrong Olivia?" Grace stated. "He... He didn't make it..." The woman informed the two teenagers. "Can you please tell David and the others for me?" She continued. "Fuck..." Aiden spelled out with disappointment. "I'll go tell him..." Grace stepped up. "Thank you Grace..." Olivia showcased her gratitude and the blonde teenage girl set off to find David. "Why don't you want to tell him yourself?" The young man asked looking curious. "I just don't want to see the disappointment in his face when he realizes that I failed as a doctor..." The woman said being quite shook about the fact that the man led his last breath on her hands. "It's not your fault Olivia. Things like that happen to everyone. I don't think David will judge you either." He said. "But still I-" Before the woman could finish her talk the man lying behind her emerged from his slumber and grabbed her from behind making the hideous sounds of a walker. "ARGGHHH!" She screamed trying to escape from the monster's grip. "Olivia!" Aiden shouted grabbing the monster's hands. "Olivia what's going on!" David shouted as he walked closer. The young man was able to force the monster to release Olivia but it wasn't enough to dispell the danger as the hideous creature fell on top of him. Aiden hit the ground facing the walker who was already on top of him trying to bit his face off. "AIDEN!" Grace called out concerned. As the young man had grabbed the creature's arms in order to incapacitate it David shot the creature through the head. Blood spilled everywhere and the body of the creature met Aiden's chest. The young man pushed it away and got up being almost out of breath. "Aiden are you alright?" Grace said wrapping her arms around his waist. "Everything is fine Grace don't worry." David grabbed Olivia's waist and reassured her that everything was fine now. "Thanks man." Aiden winked at David shaking his hand. "Don't mention it partner." The grown man replied with a smile. "But..." He said changing his tone into a more serious one as he walked closer to the new member of the crew. "Mister Roberts... Oh no..." The teenager spelled out in despair holding his head. "Eric was it...?" David asked looking at him angrily. "David what happened?!" Linda said as she and her father exited the second building. "That guy turned." David said and turned to look at Eric once again. "And Olivia and Aiden almost got killed because of this asshole!" He continued as he pointed at the teenager. "Why is it my fault?!" Eric led out a desperate cry. "Why didn't you tell us he was fucking bitten, you motherfucker?!" The bearded guy shouted in anger staring daggers at him. "What?! He wasn't bitten!" The teenager replied looking honest. "Then why the fuck was he a moving corpse just a minute ago?!" David said not laying off of him. "You mean... You don't know...?" Eric asked with a low voice. "What do you mean? What should we have known by now?" Aiden also posed a question. "It's not only the bite that forces you to turn... You come back no matter how you die... You won't come back only if you destroy the brain..." Eric explained with horror in his eyes.
