The two teenagers left the house and noticed that it had started to rain quite heavily. David, Olivia, Emily and Danny came over as soon as they saw them leaving the house. "Are you okay Grace?" Emily asked hugging her. "Yeah don't worry sweetie." The blonde girl replied. "That's a relief." Olivia expressed. "Me Olivia Danny and Emily will be running back to the school to get that RV running. We'll come get you as soon as possible." David announced. "Sounds good enough. We've got unsettled business to take care of with a certain someone so don't worry about us." Aiden said looking around. "Okay man. We'll be on our way then." David said as he started walking. "Dave wait! Can you please take Grace with you as well?" The young man suggested. "No I don't want to leave you here!" Grace voiced looking at him concerned. "But you-" "No buts!" Aiden said but wasn't allowed to finish his sentence by his girlfriend. "I'M NOT LEAVING YOU!" She continued. "Okay okay..." The young man finally gave in. "I want to stay here with you too!" Emily expressed taking a step forward. "You have to go somewhere safer Em. You can't stay here." Aiden said. "But I don't want to lose you." The little girl insisted. "You won't lose us sweetie. We'll be safe!" Grace replied with a reassuring smile caressing the little girl's cheeks.
"Really?"
"Really."
And the four of them left in search of the RV inside the school. "The horde will be coming soon so we need to move." Aiden proposed as he walked away from the house. "Where is Owen, Linda and Ashley?" Grace asked walking beside him. "Well Owen kinda... had a heart attack..." Aiden reluctantly announced. "What? So he's..." Grace came to the natural conclusion.
"Yeah he's... Me and David had to smash his head because he would have turned and devoured us all."
"Oh man... I always thought he was an asshole and stuff but that's harsh... Even for him... Are you alright?"
"Yeah kinda. But Linda is not."
"Figures. Where is she and Ashley?"
"They're back at the barn. We need to let them know so let's head there." Aiden explained and the two of them headed towards that building again.

While the two of them were close enough to see the barn they noticed Linda and Ashley shooting some walkers in front of it. "Hey guys!" Grace shouted at them. "We need to help them!" She continued. "You're right." Aiden replied as he started walking towards them. "We're gonna die here and it's your fault!" Linda shouted at Ashley. "No one's going to die!" Ashley said trying to reassure her. "SHUT UP! IT'S ALL YOUR FUCKING FAULT!" Linda replied pointing her gun at her. "Stop that Linda! What are you doing?!" Aiden shouted at them with his turn. "Finally found you. Aiden." Adam's voice was heard as the man was walking towards him. "Drop it Linda!" Ashley said with a broken voice. "Don't tell me what to do!" The woman replied pulling the trigger, blowing her brains out. "NOOOO!" Grace shouted as she couldn't believe what she had just witnessed. In split seconds the walkers surrounding the murderous woman attacked her and devoured her whole, without any hesitation, just like she did. Her screams and cries filled the whole farmhouse. "What the fuck is going on...?!" Aiden said not being able to get a grasp over the situation. "Shut the fuck up! It's your fucking fault! My fucking house is overrun by walkers and my brother, Joel, is one of them! My mama is dead inside me house! ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!" Adam shouted with anger filling his every thought. "My fault?! You tried to eat me and my group and while were trying to escape four of us died!" Aiden replied in the same fashion as his enemy. "I'm gonna kill you right here!" Adam said grunting his teeth. "Grace, stay back!" The young man adviced her while he got prepared to fight it out. "Let's settle this once and for all then!" He cried out charging at him as he tried to grab the weapon that ultimately belonged to him. Adam didn't see that coming as he couldn't keep hold of the weapon firmly enough. Aiden threw it away while he started landing some punches. The grown man fell over to his said grabbing the young man, causing him to fall back with him. The two men rolled to the ground and stopped beside the electric fence. "AIDEN!" Grace cried out following up behind them. "GUYS! GET OVER HERE!" David shouted as he opened the window of the RV from the driver's seat motioning with his hand for them to hop on. Aiden quickly slipped out of his enemy's grip and got up and grabbing Adam's collar and pushing him towards the electric fence, which was still working. Adam tried to fight back resisting Aiden's push "SEE? YOU'RE A KILLER TOO!" The grown man shouted as he grunted and he tried to prevent the inevitable but the young man was too strong in that situation. Generating a bit more force he pushed him onto the electric fence and Adam's whole body along with his tangled face was electrified. He fell to the ground moving his body awkwardly. "Drastic situations call for drastic measures pal." Aiden replied as he got up and removed the dirt from his clothes while Grace run over and grabbed his hand. "Let's go guys." David said starting up the engine once again. Grace looked at Aiden and nodded affirmatively. "WAIT!" Adam shouted kneeling to the ground with a broken voice. "COME HERE AND FINISH THIS AIDEN!" He continued crying out. "It's over, Adam! You'll get what's coming for you..." The young man said walking towards the RV hand in hand with Grace. "AIDEN!!!!" The devastated man shouted as he got surrounded by monsters. The two teenagers jumped inside the RV slamming the door behind them. "Where's Linda and Ashley?" David shouted before taking off. "They're dead. Now let's leave this fucking farm!" Aiden announced. "... Roger." The bearded man said as he stepped on the petal and the RV flew off the Fletcher farmhouse once and for all. "Where are we going?" Grace asked. "We can't go back into the school that's for sure." Olivia commented. "Why is that?" Aiden asked with his turn."It's being overrun by these fuckers. But we'll find someplace to stay." David explained.

After two hours of continuous on road driving, the group that had just been cut in half stopped to take a breather on top of a grassy hill. As soon as the RV stopped Grace stepped outside to breath some fresh air and Aiden followed. The rest stayed inside talking to each other about their plans while Emily and Danny were fast asleep on their seats. "Pretty stunning view huh?" Aiden exclaimed while he looked at the beautiful forest that they were overlooking from the grassy hill. The setting sun made the scene all the more fascinating. "Aiden..." Grace spelled out. "What's the matter Grace?" The young man asked. The blonde girl refrained from talking and wrapped her arms around him gripping his back while resting her head on his shoulder. "All this stuff made me realize how much I need you... I can't keep going if you're not there with me..." She spelled out with a red face. "You don't have to worry Grace. I'll be with you forever. I'm not going anywhere." The black haired teenager reassured her wrapping his own arms around her. "No matter what may come. I'll be here. Because I know that if I'm with you, I can do anything. And I know that together we're gonna find everyone. Miles, Romeo our families. Everyone." Aiden said with a soft voice stroking her hair. "You know I really don't like the fact that we got separated that day... But honestly? I'm glad I got separated with you!" The beautiful girl said with a small smile, tucking a strand of her behind her ear. "Me too Grace. Me too. I bet the others would be all cringed out if they saw us right now..." The young man exclaimed while both of them let out a soft chuckle. "You're so silly sometimes." Grace said with a content sigh. But I love that about you. I really do." She said as she stepped on the tips of her toes to kiss him. Their lips linked and they became under the setting sun. After a while they separated while still looking into each other's eyes. But before they got back inside the RV, they took one last look of that beautiful sunset, together. "Apocalypse or not. The world is still beautiful. The end of a storm, is always beautiful..." He thought and then the sun finally set. It was the 3rd of December 2018.
